Remember our sweet boy, Duke? About two months ago, Duke and his sister Georgia were found in a rural area and appeared to have either jumped out of a truck or been hit by one After months of wound care, he finally had surgery last week to remove a small bone in his wrist and he's finally on the road to recovery! Now, Duke is finally ready to start looking for his forever home! He is one of the sweetest, most loving dogs you will ever meet. He instantly steals the hearts of everyone he meets. He loves people and other dogs and would really love someone who works from home He is housebroken, doesn't touch a thing that isn't his, loves sleeping in bed with you and going for car rides. He is very social and would be a great dog to take out with you to dinner or the brewery! Duke came to us at 80lbs and is now around 94lbs. We have always known that he was very strongly a Great Dane, but maybe a teeny bit mixed as he has a ridge down his back Well, the female dog that he was dumped with (Georgia) was DNA tested and came back as 73% Great Dane and 27% Rhodesian Ridgeback - that explains the ridge! As snuggly as he is though, we knew his Dane genes were strong He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, HW- and almost healed. He is in Clearwater/Largo and his adoption fee is $400. Sweet Pansy is a purebred Great Dane puppy that we took from a backyard breeder who was giving away only all of the black puppies in this litter, as they were not deemed valuable. We ended up taking her and her 4 siblings, a 6 MO F Dane, as well as the puppies' Mom. The older ones have now been adopted and we are just left with the 5 adorable puppies, born May 19. They all came in underweight and full of worms, but have been dewormed and been eating like champs and growing like weeds! They love playing with each other as well as their other foster brothers and sisters. They spend most of the day playing, but have begun crate training at night. She and her sisters have received their first round of vaccinations, been microchipped, and been spayed, at the approval of our Medical Director. They are fostered in Sarasota and their adoption fee is $500. She is sweet, well mannered and loves all people and other dogs. Like any Dane, she is growing like a weed and getting bigger by the minute. Violet was born on May 19th and is 5 months old, but likely around 50lbs or so right now. They couldn't be more precious and approved adopters are welcome to meet any of the Dane puppies that we have available. She is in Sarasota and ready to go. She and her sisters have been vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and spayed at the approval of our Medical Director, a veterinarian. They are fostered in Sarasota and their adoption fee is $500.
