Story
Timber is a stunning brindle mastiff/ Great Dane mix who absolutely adores people! He has a goofy personality to him that lights up the room. His foster says he likes everyone he meets and can’t get enough back scratches. He loves to run and play and would enjoy having a fenced in yard or a family that is active. Timber is great with children, he doesn’t know he’s a big boy so older children may be best for him. He thinks he’s a lap dog and will cuddle with as long as you want. Timber does prefer to be the only dog because he loves his people so much. Timber would be an amazing addition to your family and being nothing but love and laughter and sloppy kisses. Timber Is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Please fill out an application at www.northboundrescue.com

Story
Achilles is an almost 1 year old Great Dane/mastiff mix is what we were told when we got him. He is 90 pounds and received his full shots not too long ago. Achilles was my ex boyfriends who left him with me. I am a single mom of 2 who works full time and do not have the financial means or time to take care of him properly and I feel like I am doing him a disservice. He has separation anxiety. He does extremely well with children though due to not being neutered he is best in a home without another dog. I can’t afford him on top of 2 daycares and everything else alone and I’m not able to give him the care/attention he needs. I hope to find him a good home. He loves to cuddle, he is house trained and will let you know when he needs to go, can do basic commands like sit, paw, lay down. He is extremely smart and I barely tapped his potential. He could use some work on a leash and on jumping on people. I am willing to provide everything I have of his and am just looking for a good home.

Story
Welcome Plainer to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 4-year-old Great Dane. She came in with a male Great Dane and she does great with him. She has a little grey on her muzzle and she smiles and wrinkles her nose. She then puts her head in your hands. It was startling the first time we saw her wrinkle her nose. We thought it was a negative indicator but the more we worked with her the more we knew it was her way to smile. She is adorable. She is moderately active and would be fine with a lower energy family. She will be fine as an only pet and she would be fine with children. She is an adult so you won’t have all the puppy antics to put up with. She is good in her crate and good on a leash. She is currently going to be cleared for the heartworms and then spayed and readied for her forever home. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Penny is up for adoption! Penny is an adorable puppy born on November 23rd, alongside her 9 siblings, to the sweetest mama, Grace. Grace, a Terrier/Dane mix, who has passed down her gentle and loving nature to Penny. She has a slight black tip on her tail and white socks on her feet which distinguishes her from her siblings. While we don’t know who dad was, we anticipate Penny and her siblings will grow into medium to large-sized dogs as one of the other puppies DNA came back as Dane/Boxer. Born in our care, Penny has been surrounded by love and attention from the very beginning. She’s playful and full of puppy charm, ready to bring joy and laughter to his forever home. Penny is very curious and likes to explore new spaces. While very independent, Penny likes snuggling for a nap and longs to be with her humans getting all the attention she can. She sleeps in a crate at night and is working on potty training. With frequent potty breaks during the day, she rarely has accidents in the house. She loves being outside picking up sticks to chew on, or bounding through the grass, tumbling and wrestling with her brother, Penny’s loving and spirited personality shines through. Penny is looking for a family who will help her grow into the amazing dog she’s destined to be. Could that be you? To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link.
