Story
APPLY FOR ARLO I’m Arlo, your friendly neighborhood Great Dane, and at a sprightly 1.5 years old, I’m ready to leap into the next big adventure—finding my forever home!   So, here’s a little backstory: my last family had to let me go because I got a wee bit snack-happy with something I shouldn’t have munched on, and they couldn’t swing the vet bill. But fear not! A bunch of superhero humans swooped in to save the day and gave me all the TLC I needed. Now, I’m back to feeling like a million bucks!   They say I’m the quintessential Great Dane—loveably goofy, adorably clumsy, and oh-so-playful! And let’s set the record straight: I may be a towering giant (allegedly), but trust me, I fancy myself a lap dog! Seriously, there’s a comfy spot on your lap just waiting for me!   I adore fellow doggos and the kiddos who are steady on their feet (because I sometimes forget I’m a big ol’ guy and don’t want to accidentally turn playtime into a bowling match!). As for kitties? Well, I’ve yet to meet one, but I’m pretty sure we’d hit it off like peanut butter and jelly when introduced properly!   I’m on the lookout for a fabulous family who knows the ropes of handling big pups like me and who can keep my brain and bouncy body entertained!    ADOPTION FEE: $800 ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:  Microchip, Vaccines APPLICATION: Click here to apply IF YOU HAVE OWNED A PET IN THE LAST 10 YEARS, PLEASE CALL YOUR VET AHEAD OF TIME TO ALLOW RESCUES TO SPEAK TO THEM APPLY FOR ARLO ##2626530##

Story
Welcome Plainer to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 4-year-old Great Dane. She came in with a male Great Dane and she does great with him. She has a little grey on her muzzle and she smiles and wrinkles her nose. She then puts her head in your hands. It was startling the first time we saw her wrinkle her nose. We thought it was a negative indicator but the more we worked with her the more we knew it was her way to smile. She is adorable. She is moderately active and would be fine with a lower energy family. She will be fine as an only pet and she would be fine with children. She is an adult so you won’t have all the puppy antics to put up with. She is good in her crate and good on a leash. She is currently going to be cleared for the heartworms and then spayed and readied for her forever home. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
**Now fostered in Bellingham, WA** Heath the King Size Candy Bar 7 months old and already tipping the scales at nearly 70 pounds, Heath is everything you want in a king-size treat — big, sweet, and guaranteed to make your life a whole lot richer. This Great Dane mix (maybe with a splash of Lab in the recipe) is expected to soar past 100 pounds once fully grown. He’s not fun-size. He’s the full bar. Heath’s beginning was bittersweet. He was found in the oil fields outside of Houston, Texas with his 10 siblings and their emaciated mama. After being nursed back to health, this glossy chocolate dream has made his way to the PNW and is ready for his forever family. With his sleek black coat kissed with touches of white, his slightly “Dumbo” ears, and that soft, melty smile, Heath looks like he was poured straight from a chocolate mold. And true to his Great Dane roots, he’s a giant goober — sensitive, a little bit of a baby, and deeply devoted to his people. He loves to snuggle and get his beauty sleep, happily melting into you like chocolate left in the sun. He’s fostered in a loving home with a foster mom and dad, and twice a week foster mom hosts a small-group dog daycare. Heath is very excited about having a handful of new friends to mingle with and continues to build his social skills. He’ll also get to enjoy some canine hydrotherapy since his foster mom does that part time — truly the deluxe, dipped-in-love experience. On walks, he’s curious about other pups and takes the world in thoughtfully. Some new things can feel a little spooky (kids zooming by on bikes, for example), and he has given a tiny unsure growl when startled, but he doesn’t bark and looks to his humans for reassurance. Underneath that king-size frame is a soft, tender center that just needs patience and gentle guidance. Heath is potty trained, crate trained, and was previously fostered in a home with cats, so with proper introductions he could likely live with them again. Because he’s going to be such a big boy, a calmer home prepared for a giant breed pup is ideal. Older, sturdier kids who won’t be easily toppled are best. He could live in an apartment if there are no size restrictions and he receives consistent exercise, but he would absolutely love a yard to stretch those long, chocolate-bar legs — and maybe even a doggy sibling to help show him the ropes. Heath is sweet, substantial, and full of heart — the kind of once-in-a-lifetime king-size love you don’t want to pass up. Story
If you’ve ever loved a big dog - a really big dog - you know the kind of presence they carry. Baloo is that dog. He is a companion that fills the room with his goofy charm and regal frame but it will he his silly, goofy side that will be what fills your heart. Take a look at his goofy goodness here then come back to read more- https://youtu.be/QoqhXxMkibI Baloo is as magnificent as they come -strong, handsome, and full of a quiet love. He is affectionate, playful, and loves to engage, but he is no lap dog. He understands his size and loves people who understand dogs his size. This boy needs structure, your confidence, and someone who can manage all 82 pounds of his enthusiasm when he’s excited. He has great basic leash skills and walks with purpose, and while it’s not common, he can still pull hard when he is eager to meet or greet. Because of that, Baloo is looking for a home with no small children and no physically limited handlers -not because he isn’t loving, but because he’s simply a whole lot of dog. He gets along well with other dogs who enjoy and can match his play style. He’s the “roughhousing in the yard” kind of guy -playful and physical, and so much fun to watch. When dogs are confident and enjoy that same type of play, he thrives. Baloo has made some wonderful dog friends who he plays beautifully with. You can see his big goofy grin and those paws in the air and know he is having a blast! The best part though is when he starts to get tired he will simply roll over mid-play and lay on the ground with his playmate to roll around in the grass. Baloo is eager to please, responsive to correction, and happiest when he has clear direction. He’s not suited for apartment living, no surprise right? This boy needs space, both physically and mentally. A home with a fenced yard and a confident, calm person will give Baloo the structure he needs to shine. Big heart, big presence- that’s Baloo. If you’re the kind of person who looks at a big dog and sees powerful potential and big fun, he is your perfect match! Ready to welcome Baloo home? Meet the "Gentle Giant" Doodles! Are you looking for a best friend who is equal parts majestic and mischievous? Our litter of "Danedoodles" (Great Dane x Some Poodle & couple other breeds) are officially ready to find their forever familes! These pups have hit the genetic jackpot: they’ve inherited the calm, "velcro-dog" heart of the Great Dane and the clever, playful wit of the Poodle. Despite their growing size, these pups firmly believe they are lap dogs. If there’s a spot next to you, they’ll find it. Thanks to their Poodle roots, they are quick learners! They’re already working on their "sit" and "stay," though they might try to negotiate for an extra treat. Most of the litter sports those soft, wavy coats that mean less time vacuuming and more time playing. Goofy Personalities-From "zoomies" to tilting their heads at every word you say, their curiosity is endless and their wagging tails are lethal weapons of joy. Temperament - Patient, goofy, and incredibly affectionate Energy Level - Playful bursts followed by epic 3-hour naps   Future Size – Based on their DNA (50% Great Dane), these pups are likely to grow big enough to reach the counter—so you might want to hide the cookies! That said, some may take after Mom, a medium-to-large Poodle mix weighing around 60 lbs, meaning you may only need to keep an eye on your end tables instead.  If you're looking for smart, loving and velcro puppies, then adopt one of us! Local adoption fee is $250(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
