Story
*This is a courtesy listing.* Meet Lulu! 5-year-old Lulu is a beautiful, affectionate brindle Great Dane who needs a loving home after a divorce dramatically changed her living situation. She is stressed in her new environment, a small apartment with no yard. Her mom is gone up to 13 hours a day for work, and even with visits from a dog walker, Lulu is struggling to adjust to all the recent changes in her life. Lulu is a big couch potato who is very friendly, easygoing, and cuddly with adults. She loves her Lamb Chop stuffie that she carries around with her all the time. Lulu is in good health and already spayed. She goes on 2-3 walks a day around her neighborhood and also plays tug-of-war and ball for short periods of time. Lulu used to live with another dog and got along well. Since moving, she has become reactive on walks towards some dogs but not others. As a precaution, her mom doesn't walk her close to other dogs or take her to dog parks. It's possible that in a different environment with careful introductions, Lulu may again do well with other dogs. She has not been around cats. Lulu is a loving gentle giant who needs a fresh start in a calm home with outdoor space where she can stretch her long legs. She would do best in a home without young children, as their energy makes her nervous. Lulu would be fine with older, respectful children. If you have a Great Dane sized spot in your heart for this special girl, please contact Rachel via email: rachel.l.davis92@gmail.com. *Frosted Faces Foundation has not assesed this dog medically or behaviorally.*

Story
This beautiful pup looks like a blend of a small Great Dane, Weimaraner, and Chesapeake Bay Retriever, but who knows? Whatever his breed, Gunter is one extremely handsome fellow! I never met the momma or daddy dog, but I understand they are both medium size, so I imagine Gunter and his litter mates will get to be maybe 60 pounds? That’s just a guess - they are about 5.5 months old, so won’t grow TOO much more, but they will fill out. Gunter is very sweet, quiet and surprisingly gentle for a big boy who is just growing in to his big dog body. He's great with kids and has spent his young life with children ranging from 2 years old to teens. He's wonderful with other dogs and simply ignores my kitties and my farm animals. He is a happy healthy and very smart goofball. He’s loving, affectionate, playful, and ever so handsome! Gunter is already housebroken, and he's not at all a barker or a wanderer. I can leave him in my unfenced front yard and he'll stick around just smelling the flowers! Of course, adoption covers his neuter and all his shots. I’m a firm believer is allowing potential adopters the opportunity to take a puppy home for sleepover to ensure that it’s a great match, and I always take my rascals back if things don’t work out. To meet Gunter and his brothers and sisters and get the pick of the litter, please email findabestbuddy@gmail.com or call 858-602-2061

Story
Oden is a wonderful and growing Great Dane puppy. He spent the first five months of his life on a 5 to 6 foot chain. So when he arrived at the shelter, he did not have a lot of manners. But he is sweet as all get out. He is loving, playful, and just wonderful! **** Please read adoption information carefully!!!**** Odin is a stunningly handsome little boy -male, 7 months -supposedly pure-bread, -Neutered -Current Weight : 90 lbs, will grow -Crate trained -Potty trained Odin is a big, funny bundle of joy, energy, and affection. He is just a big goofball! Odin is still a puppy, and will continue to grow. He is on the bigger side, but has an abundance of affection and cuteness! Odin is a well-adjusted puppy who has been hand raised. He has never shown any signs of aggression of any kind, including food aggression, although he can occasionally be a little rambunctious. He really thinks that he is a little dog…. ? Odin wants to be a lapdog; he can’t quite figure out why he doesn’t fit in my lap, but he settles for putting his head in my lap, since the rest of him doesn’t fit 😜 Odin is used to playing and sleeping with the other dogs on the property. He is well socialized, both with humans and dogs. While I have never seen him interact with a cat, I have no reason to anticipate a problem. ************************************ ADOPTION INFORMATION ************************************ I only adopt LOCALLY; San Diego and immediate vicinity. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.COURTESY POST: Henry, a majestic Great Dane, is currently in need of a loving and devoted home. Abandoned at a boarding facility in Fontana, Henry has languished in their care for over a year, his heart yearning for companionship. Despite their best efforts, the boarding staff has been unable to find him a permanent home. With a heavy heart, the facility reached out for rescue assistance, but to their dismay, no rescue has yet stepped forward to offer Henry a lifeline. Henry is a gentle and affectionate soul, yearning for a one person family who understands the unique needs of his breed. While he is dog-friendly and enjoys car rides and walks on a leash, he exhibits occasional resource guarding around his favorite person, thats why the boarding facility feels he should be with just one person and be an only dog. It's definitely a behavior that stems from his extended stay in the facility. The ideal family for Henry would possess experience with Great Danes and be dedicated to providing him with the training he needs to regain his confidence and thrive. If you have the space in your home and heart to welcome this deserving boy into your life, please do not hesitate to complete our adoption application. Henry's soulful eyes and wagging tail await someone who will give him the love and security he so desperately deserves.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 9:16 pm

Story
Destiny is a half Dane half Doodle, she about 3 almost 4 months. I really desperately need to rehome her. I got her 4 days ago from a co worker but this baby needs space I grew to already love her but didnt think it through, danes need space and room to play around and my apartment isnt the biggest. Shes a loving dog though, and is very active. She loves chewy toys and playing ball. Im hoping she will able to get re homed in a loving and caring environment. (1st two pictures are when she was about almost 2 months last two are her now) I don’t want to take her to the shelter/pound because this is a great loving dog, I just can’t take care of her how I’d want, any questions please feel free to ask me.
