She is very selective with dogs so it is better for her and new owner to be the only dog. She is friendly with people. Hi there! My name is Opal. Aren't I such a beautiful girl? Until being rescued by Beagle Freedom Project, I was living on the streets of LA as a stray. I tried my hardest to find scraps to eat and a safe place to sleep, but life was so hard all on my own... I spent months starving, suffering from a severe flea infestation, and sleeping on a pile of trash I collected. I wasn't sure if help would ever come for me, but as soon as BFP heard my story they sprang into action! Despite everything that I've been through, I am such a sweetheart. I am gentle, trusting, and so unbelievably loving. I'm working on building my confidence, but it's already clear that I'm going to be the best companion in the world for my adopter. I'm also great with other dogs! Won't you consider giving me the loving home I've always dreamed of? I would prefer a home that has: another dog to play with, a fenced yard, lots of love! I found her wandering around the desert thirsty and hungry looking for a home. I've been feeding and caring for her while I look for her forever home. I do not have the means to care for her long term, as my work requires travel and I do not have an appropriate environment for her to live in. Lucy is an amazing dog, calm, smart, willing to please, and the most loving dog I have ever met. She likes to cuddle and is a good watch dog. She never strays to far from me and is good with other dogs. She is extremely friendly and likes meeting new people. She naps really well and is receptive to training. She is approximately 5 months old.

Chantilly is a beautiful, 6 year old, fawn spayed female Great Dane. Chantilly was dumped on the streets in an industrial area until Lovejoy found her and brought her to safety. Once at Lovejoy, she gave birth to babies who have since found their forever homes. Now it’s Chantilly’s time to know the love and safety of a family. This girl deserves all the love in the world and will give it in return. She’s good with kids and dogs. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications.
