Zeus was rescued from a homeless encampment with five other siblings. All his siblings have found forever homes and now Zeus is waiting for a living home to call his home. He is around 10 months old. Zeus was a shy pup at first but he has excelled since being with us. Due to a little shyness still we wouldn’t recommend young Children. Older kids are fine. He is sensitive to shouting and yelling since he was in and around loud and intense people in the encampment. He is crate and Potty trained. He loves playing in the water in the yard and he is overall a constant playful little fella. He enjoys walks at the park and would make a wonderful hiking buddy once he feels comfortable in the environment. He does great with other dogs and could benefit from having another friend in the house to teach him the fun life of being a pup. Hence, it would be preferred to have him go to a no other dog home as of now. Outside of that we are not too sure how he is with other dogs. He is people friendly and is an overall sweet dog that loves attention. He is house trained and is okay in a kennel.

Chantilly is a beautiful, 6 year old, fawn spayed female Great Dane. Chantilly was dumped on the streets in an industrial area until Lovejoy found her and brought her to safety. Once at Lovejoy, she gave birth to babies who have since found their forever homes. Now it’s Chantilly’s time to know the love and safety of a family. This girl deserves all the love in the world and will give it in return. She’s good with kids and dogs. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. Oliver is a very loving Great Dane. He is very laid back and mostly lounges around the house. He enjoys playing fetch and tug of war. Oliver loves to be near his people and is happiest when receiving love and affection. He can be quite stubborn at times, consistency and persistence go a long way. Our lives have become too busy for us to give him the life he deserves. I'm hoping to find him a loving home where he will get all the hugs and pets he deserves. He has had a few bite incidents. The trigger for the bites were when someone was trying to make him move when he didn't want to. Aside from one incident when an elderly woman was petting his face and he snapped at her, not biting, but his tooth scratched the skin on her hand. During these bite incidents he did not growel or give any warning signs prior to the bite.
