Story
Fofa is 3 years old and about 21 lbs. She has been through training, sleeps in a kennel and she's great with kids. She tries with other dogs but we haven't had many to interact with and the dog park wasn't a great experience for her. She does well with some support. 3 of our kids are allergic to her and recently I've had some mental health issues that have made keeping up on her grooming difficult. Causing everyone's allergies to become a problem. She is a very good dog and we've taken her with us places often so she's good in the car. Although her commands aren't in English she is very smart and it won't be hard to retrain her.

Story
Aberdeen Scottish Terrier Rescue is a registered 501(c)3 Web Site: www.aberdeenstr.com ***MUST SUBMIT APPLICATION before we will respond to email or phone inquiries. Thank You for your cooperation*** Please read listings fully to the end before applying for one of our beloved rescues. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER; WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog. We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes in WA state, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle, or cash. We no longer accept PayPal because of the percentage they take & their fees but if the potential adopter wants to pay the fees we will accept PayPal. The call was put out for the need from several commercial breeders who needed some of their dogs gone, at a cost of course in the middle of the midwest. Of course they always want money for the dogs & of course once we know about them we are not leaving them & do what we have to do to help them. These innocent souls lives was instantly changing in that moment & only for the better. They were one of the very lucky ones. On this day we rescued a total of 3 mini goldendoodles from Missouri. A breeding dad who is Clark Griswald & 2 puppy siblings who were adopted together to the same home. The real healing, love & devotion could begin & show Clark Griswald how he is supposed to be loved & adored in a loving forever home just as they are in their foster home. Clark Griswald & his friends were bought back to the WA state where he is now so happy to be here & can’t wait to find his new loving devoted forever home. When this beautiful boy first arrived he was absolutely terrified of everything & didn’t trust humans at all. Who could blame him? Clark Griswald was so disgusting & filthy with caked on mud & who knows how long he had been in this state & used to breed this way & had puss coming from his penis. We even discovered that is tail was bent & we knew instantly that his tail had been broken at some stage & never was taken care of. But thankfully he had his loving foster siblings to help him feel more comfortable & his foster mum & foster dad worked on helping him to trust humans & his new life & foster home. This boy is now very confident & obsessed with his foster mum. He will be found sometimes just staring at her. He is in love with his foster siblings & will play with anyone who will play with him but then will be off doing his own thing at times. Clark Griswald is the best of both worlds, he will play but then be happy to snuggle up with you. He taught himself to go up & down the hardwood stairs in his foster home. He now knows what toys are but has shown no interest in them. He has been learning to go potty on material potty pads & outside. At first he did not have a clue about anything at all but has picked up things very quickly in his devoted foster home. He absolutely loves his foster siblings & we have tested him with countless breeds of dogs. He is extremely sweet but is very loving & a very cuddly little chap. He really enjoys snuggling with you & we know he adores being picked up & held & carried around to see what is going on. At first he had no idea what it was to be held & loved but now he gets ready to be picked up. He will be uncertain at first in his new home but once he is comfortable that will change. The reality is, the foster homes are his real first experience at being in a home, with a tv, bedding he can snuggle up in, a roof over his head that’s not outside. This boy has now become obsessed with his outfits especially his pajamas & will stand there patiently & wait for his foster mum to put them on him. Clark Griswald is a wonderful eater & we know that he is obsessed with food in his loving foster home with the good nutrition he is getting. He eats a clean diet meaning, raw fruits, vegetables, grains & proteins & is on supplements. He also is obsessed with his treats & loves bully sticks & collagen sticks. His treats are also homemade for him but sometimes will eat bought treats. He adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something he did not get to experience ever until he was rescued. He currently sleeps with his foster siblings sometimes but prefers to sleep right next to foster mum. He absolutely loves to sleep in the bed with you & be apart of what you are doing. He is such a very innocent soul who just wants to be loved & to make up for his past. He loves everyone & is so very sweet. He is accepting with being bathed & groomed & enjoys the hairdryer. He would still need to be taught to walk on a harness & leash. Clark Griswald rides in the car well & considering the only times we know of was when he went to be sold & when we got him & going home & to & from the vets with us & his loving foster home. But he does well in the car & really enjoys a car ride with his foster mum. We are looking for a crate free home for this little lad only. Clark Griswald as you can imagine spent the first part of his life in a caged environment. We are also looking for a forever home for Clark Griswald where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them. When they find someone who treats them as they should be treated & loves them they get so attached to them. Clark Griswald is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be patient with him & never give up on him. Clark Griswald has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes in the rescue & he is currently with dogs in his foster home. He will be found snuggled up with his foster siblings. He absolutely must go to a forever home with a dog or dog’s present in the home for him to thrive in. He needs a very playful dog in the home for him to play with. Please do not apply saying your neighbors have a dog or family members or you will take him to places where there are other dogs. That will not work, another dog or dogs is mandatory along with a fully fenced backyard. Clark Griswald is roughly 18.4 lbs & he is 3 years old & supposed to be a mini goldendoodle. He has put on a lot of weight since being in the rescue in his loving foster home. What he is mixed with we are not sure. Male, he will be neutered by laser, had a dental scale & polish alone with dental x-rays. He is microchipped, up to date on his shots, including DHPP, rabies bordatella & dewormed. Clark Griswald’s tail had been broken with the breeder & unfortunately it was never treated so it healed with a kink in it. We have spent far more on Clark Griswald with paying for him from a commercial breeder. Bringing him to WA with his travel costs, his transportation to WA. All of his medical care in WA & Omaha etc & bringing her to WA then his adoption fee comes close to covering. Clark Griswald has not been around cats since being in the rescue, but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have had him around small children & he adores them but we do do not recommend small children nor cats though & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & cats. We were not there when Clark Griswald was conceived so we do not know who his parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & Clark Griswald’s friends & siblings he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Clark Griswald potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Clark Griswald & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on. Or you waste this rescues time, will remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit via WebEx or Zoom due to covid & followed by a meet & greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Clark Griswald who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for the special sweet little Clark Griswald. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Clark Griswald has an adoption fee of $1250 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.

Morty was an oops baby of a Goldendoodle and Blue Heeler. Morty needs to be an only dog. He loves to run. Mortimer has demonstrated some aggressive behavior with my other dog and my daughter’s dog. He has never been aggressive with people, adults or children. He is high energy and great in the car. We have attended obedience classes and he is highly food motivated! He’s a sweet boy and loves to cuddle, he just doesn’t care to share.

Story
Friendly, sweet 4-year-old Goldendoodle. Strengths: Good with dogs, others pets, kids, all people Does well on leash, responds to simple commands Very friendly, likes to cuddle Fits in a large backpack if needed, but also large enough to hike and do other activities Challenges: Severe separation anxiety -Cannot be crated, vocalization, damage to belongings/structure, or panic peeing when left alone without follow very specific routine -Takes medication that helps anxiety but does not cure it -Will not settle in car unless allowed to ride up front He is house-trained but will have accidents during panic related to anxiety. We use doggy diaper for this. New home would need: Adult with flexible schedule who is home often. NO neighbors that can hear vocalization. Area to safely leave dog that is dog proof (not a crate, think dog proof area such as large fenced in area without ability to escape or other structure). Optional plus: other friendly dog(s) for bonding.

Story
We are looking to rehome our 2 year old goldendoodle Luke. We are no longer can keep him due to our busy schedules and having a toddler and senior in our house, we are afraid of accidents may happen while we are at work. We tried our best to train him but we are not consistent with it due to our schedules. He is in crate for the most part of a day and sleeps in it at night. We an are looking for a new family for him where they can continue to train and provide more time and love for him. He knows basic commands but has no patience. He is mouthy and jumpy! He is a big dog with high energy. He needs a family that can give him lots of attention and love.
