Story
Trotwood (named after a C. Dickens character) was born in Nov of 2019; we purchased him from a breeder as a puppy. His father is a prize-winning standard poodle and his mother is a golden retriever. He's been an important part of our family and enjoyed a happy life on our 10-acre property where he could run free. Last year, we relocated to a community in Utah that requires pets to be restrained and doesn't allow fences. He's s become increasingly anxious not being able to roam free. We walk him on a leash 3x a day, but we've found that he doesn't do well with other dogs in our neighborhood; we've tried training him with a shock collar to walk well on a leash and interact with other dogs, our new home is still not a good fit. We also had a baby two weeks ago and have not been able to give him the exercise and attention he needs. It is heartbreaking to part with him, but we recognize that he'd be happier in a different scenario. Trot is super affectionate, loves attention, and kids.

Story
We're looking to rehome our sweet, energetic Betty. Born on 8/6/23, Betty has been with us for almost a year. Having two jobs doesn’t allow me to give her the attention she needs and deserves, so we’re hoping to find her a home where she can truly thrive. Betty has a spunky personality and absolutely loves playing fetch, especially with her foam Frisbee, and adores head scratches. She's very treat-motivated, which makes training easy—she knows sit, wait, stay, and how to use the doggy door to go potty outside. She also walks beautifully on a leash with a harness. Some of her favorite treats are frozen carrots for gnawing and anything with peanut butter. If you're looking for a lively, affectionate companion, Betty could be the perfect fit.
