Story
Ozzie and his siblings were born at Horse Creek on March 13, 2024. Their mother, Gracie, was rescued from the animal shelter on February 8, 2024. We were not aware that she was pregnant. We are not sure who their fathers are, but all five puppies are gorgeous! Ozzie is one of three boys. He is so sweet and cute. He and his siblings have been lovingly cared for from birth and are going to make great family pets. They are all extremely friendly and have never had a bad day. They love people and love to romp and play in the grass. Ozzie will make the perfect companion for a family that will give him lots of love. He is ready to run and play and take long naps in someone’s lap! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered and current on all vaccinations. They receive monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. All of their medical needs are taken care of before they are available for adoption. Our adoption fee is $100.00. Please complete an application, if you have found a dog you are interested in adopting. You can find our application at www.horsecreekwildlife.org/applic.html. Once completed, you can forward it to adoptions@horsecreekwildlife.org or fax it to 731-926-3000. Kim Austin, our adoption facilitator, will be in contact with you as soon as she has an opportunity to review your application. Understand that she has other duties and she will not ignore any interest shown in adopting one of our dogs. An application will need to be approved before a scheduled time to visit our dogs will be set up. It may take up to 48 hours before she returns your call or responds to your email, due to work schedules, holidays and adoption events. We do the very best we can for the dogs we have rescued and do not take the adoption process lightly. Please be patient and understand that we will place our rescued dogs in the very best homes possible and reserve the right to refuse applications.
