Story
Alfred was born in Orem UT in May 2022. He was gotten as an ESA animal, and has a fantastic temperament. We moved from UT to a butte in MT for little over a year, he had the chance to free run on the butte and often did with other dogs on the property, always returns home. He does great in the snow, loves to run in it, in tall snow he bounces like a bunny through it. Loves to play with other dogs, will try to play with cats, doesn't attack them. Has killed a chicken, but after extensive training he was able to free run around them without further issue. He is loyal, smart, energetic, and loving. We moved to NC in September and he has been an outside dog ever since. Would be best suited to be in a house with another dog to play with, kids 7+ years old, and where he is allowed on the furniture. Not dangerous for younger kids he just might play too rough. House broken, not neutered, knows many commands, trainable for more commands, pulls on a leash. Only rehoming because it's best for him

Story
Dixie is a very sweet and loving goldendoodle that we purchased when the was 8 weeks old. She was easily trained as a puppy and took to learning new things quickly. When Dixie was 4 months old we started noticing some anxiety and wanted to get ahead of things. We hired a trainer who worked with us and Dixie. She gained confidence quickly and was more sure of herself. Over time Dixie became more and more anxious. She started acting like she was nervous when our other dogs got attention or if 100% of the attention wasn’t on her. Our vet advised starting anxiety meds which have helped but not completely. Dixie has so much potential and would thrive being the only dog in her home. She needs a family that will keep her on her food and current medicines so that she can live her best life. We are looking for a family that can meet the needs that we are unable to and continue to give Dixie the love she deserves. Comes with crate, collar, leash, toys, 2 large bags of food, meds, and more

Story
If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit our application at Richardsonrescue.org. Bentley was 1 year old as of September, 2024 and is a Standard Poodle. This boy has a nice temperament and has gotten along well with large, small and tiny dogs here but was an only dog in his previous home. He has never been around cats so we cannot comment to how he would do with cats. He is  a shy guy though and will not come running to you when you visit him and is timid about new things. However, he has not had any nippy or aggressive issues with us even though he is shy.  He will need some time and patience in a new home. He is house and crate trained and will need to be crated if you leave him home alone. A home where someone is home a lot would probably be best. He does great in a fence and does not try to escape. He loves to take walks and runs. He would do best in a quiet, adult home with experience working with dogs that are a little shy. He is now coming up to everyone here at the rescue for some loves and we love it. Bentley is neutered and current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 21, 2025, 12:03 pm
