Story
Meet Milo — the kind of dog people dream about and hope to find.  This gorgeous Apricot Doodle, weighing 55 pounds and 4 years young, is the total package and ready to bring joy to a new family. Milo has been with his family since puppyhood, and as life changed and children came along, they realized that Milo deserves more time and attention than they can give. It’s a loving, thoughtful decision made with Milo’s best interests at heart — because there is truly nothing lacking in this wonderful boy. Milo is fantastic with young children, housebroken, crate trained, and has a calm, well-mannered personality that makes him an ideal family companion. He’s the kind of dog who settles easily, loves being included, and just wants to belong.   Critter Cavalry Rescue will be helping Milo find the perfect match and will be making sure he is neutered and fully up-to-date on vet care on 1/14. From there, he’s ready to step right into a lucky family’s life and become someone’s best friend. Trust us — someone is going to hit the jackpot with Milo.  To learn more, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 12, 2026, 9:04 pm

I bought this guy about 4 years ago. I thought he would be 20 pounds and he’s 50. I’m a senior and don’t have a fenced yard. I feel bad for him because he needs to run around and play.

Story
We are relocating this summer and are not able to take Waffles with us (due to new housing Size / Too hot Climate). She is a very sweet and loving girl, but we cannot take her with us. She is a full stage-5 clinger who loves to sit next to you on the couch, lay at your feet, and snuggle up to you in bed. She does usually find her own space after a little while as she gets hot, and seeks out cool hardwood floors and bathroom tile to sleep on day/night. Her fur is a beautiful chocolate w/ hint-of-red, and very soft. She loves her rump, neck, and ears scratched. We have had Waffles since she was a puppy, born February 12th, 2021. She is almost 5 years old. She is past the puppy stage and enjoys laying around as much as she does playing (moderate-to-heavy-play) for limited amounts of time at least once a day. Currently, we walk her up to the local school's fenced in area and let her run and chase a small soccer ball for 20-30 minutes ... that is enough to tire her out of the evening.
