Story
Gus likes people and kids. Gets along well with other dogs. Wants more attention than we are able to give him. Fully house trained and doesnt need alot of exercise but is always up for a walk or play. He is a very affectionate dog and loves pets and sitting near people. Very gentle with kids (lots of experience) and never been aggressive with other dogs at home or out in public. He is 1st generation goldendoodle so does shed a bit.

Story
Winston Bishop (or Winnie the Bish) was adopted almost 3 years ago as a new puppy. His dad was a purebred golden, mom a pure bred poodle. He just turned 3 September 18. He is in need a of big yard with a potential (dog) sibling or two. He loves to play with a buddy and run and run, but unfortunately does not get that enough. He also has major FOMO and always wants to know whats going on at all times so he is rarely rarely in a kennel or separate room. He can be cuddly and playful. He is very energetic. Loves new people, whether adults or kids, but will still jump and try to hug you fully so we only let him around kids that we know are comfortable with dogs his size. He has a very sensitive tummy, so he cant handle most manufactured treats, but loves bits of fruit and cheese.

Pet Location: Wayside’s Canine Behavior Center – I`d love to show off all the cool things I’ve learned at Wayside! Please arrive at the shelter before 4pm on our open adoption days to meet me! My Friends at Wayside say: - I am enrolled in LIFT University. This is a program for dogs to build confidence in new situations and work on managing energy. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. - I`ve been described as a goofy and affectionate boy!- I love cuddles and pets from people once I`m comfortable. - I’m smart and food/treat motivated.- I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. Please visit our website for additional information. My home needs are: - I need a home without other dogs - I prefer having your attention all to myself! - If you have kids in the home between 6-9 years old, I will need to meet them since I can be nervous around new people and loud noises. - Wayside recommends no apartments or shared living spaces for me, please! -I need a home with kids 6 years old and older since I tend to be nervous around new people and loud noises. - For my safety, I need to go home on an anti-slip collar called a martingale collar. For your convenience, we sell them in our retail store, Whiskers and Wags.
