Story
MEET FLOYD: Floyd is a 7 year old, 50lb Goldendoodle. He is a friendly and adventurous boy in search of his forever home. Floyd absolutely loves outdoor activities. Whether it's camping trips, truck rides, or leisurely walks, he is always up for an adventure! However, he has a tendency to pull on the leash out of sheer excitement, so he will need someone who can handle him during walks. Alternatively, he has also done well on a tether. He is a playful dog who loves toys and treats. Playing with toys is one of his favorite ways to engage and have fun. Additionally, he enjoys meeting new faces, and is particularly fond of older children who understand how to interact with dogs like him. He is a gentle and patient boy, ready to embark on playdates with your dog-savvy children. When it comes to house manners, you can trust Floyd to behave if left uncrated while his people are away. He is completely housetrained and has proven to be trustworthy in his previous home. When it's time to relax, he loves to chill out and relax, knowing that his family is safe and sound. While he is generally an affectionate and loving companion, there are a couple of things that make him nervous and cause anxiety. Storms and fireworks tend to frighten Floyd, so he will need a calm and secure environment during these events. On the flip side, Floyd thoroughly enjoy activities like bath time where he can stay close to his humans and feel the love and care they provide. Grooming for this fella will be an absolute necessity.  In terms of socializing, he does well with other dogs and cats and has shown no prey drive, so this well rounded fella would do amazing in most any environment.  It's important to mention that he was surrendered by his previous family due to his ability to find weak spots in their fence and escape. Therefore, his new family will need to ensure that he is monitored while in the yard or that he is secured by a tether or under control on leash walks. Safety first, after all! If you are an active family searching for a companion who loves to explore, play, and cuddle, look no further! Floyd is eagerly waiting for the right person or family to whisk him away and give him the love and care he deserve. So, if you think you would be a great match, please apply to adopt and let them know you'd like to meet Floyd, the adventurous Goldendoodle! Story
Beanie is ready for his forever home. Unlike our usual rescues Bean has been cared for his entire life. We often rescue stray dogs. He was uprooted from his home after giving warning to their toddler of his dislike of having his personal space invaded. This 9yr old Goldendoodle is looking for a fresh start after his life was flipped upside down… He didn’t deserve to be homeless, he’s been a loyal companion. Bean is a WONDERFUL BOY & pretty close to the perfect foster dog. He comes trained, housebroken, calm, friendly, well-behaved and downright loveable!!! 🧡🧡🧡 Breakdown of Beans - 🫘 Although he’s a senior, Beanie still has moments of playfulness. You’ll often catch him, rolling around the carpet, floors, or even grass. It seems to be one of his favorite pastimes. When he is feeling extra spunky, he may even grab a toy and trot around. 🫘 Beanie is a big fan of walks with the occasional half hearted attempt to chase a squirrel, followed by a well deserved nap. He appreciates the small things in life! 🫘 He’s very good a lounging on the couch, he knows how to make himself comfortable! 🫘 We will not place him in a home with any young children, although he’s not aggressive, he doesn’t appreciate or understand their movements or interactions. 🫘 We have not introduced him to any cats & he’s lived as an independent dog for the majority of his life. 🫘 Bean had a back injury several years back that has left him with some arthritis. He moves around just fine, but takes supplements & may need more support in his super senior years. WANT TO APPLY TO ADOPT?
