Story
Hi there! I’m Hunny, a 5-month-old Goldendoodle with a super fluffy coat and an even fluffier heart!
I’m still learning about this big world, but I’m eager to find a special family or person who can help me build my confidence. I’d love someone who can spend lots of time with me, giving me the encouragement I need to feel safe and secure. I’m working on overcoming some separation anxiety, so I can get a bit noisy when left alone. A quieter home would be the perfect place for me to settle in and feel comfortable as loud noises make me a bit nervous. Car rides also make me pretty queasy, but my vet has given me some medication to help with that.
Despite my puppy quirks, I’m the sweetest, biggest love-bug you’ll ever meet! I love being close to my person — I'm a huge “momma’s girl” — but I’m always sure to spread my love to everyone around me! I’m good with other dogs and love playing with kids, so I’d be a fantastic addition to any family. Even though I’m still young, I do a great job letting my foster mom know when I need to go potty, and I don’t chew on things I shouldn’t as long as I have my own toys to play with. Sometimes I forget to keep my mouth closed while playing, but I never bite — just be ready for lots of kisses!
I absolutely love playing outside in the yard, and I definitely prefer it over going on walks. I feel most at ease in my fenced backyard, where I can chase sticks, sunbathe in a warm spot, chew on the grass, and run around with my human(s). Slowly but surely, I’m building up my leash confidence, too!
