Story
Charlie is a fantastic dog! He loves being outside, playing fetch, and cuddling. He is house trained and understands basic commands. He plays with children well and plays with other dogs great too! He needs a good, stable home with lots of love. We have had him for 6 years from birth. His mother was a golden doodle pure bred, and his father was an American bulldog. Even though he does not look like a golden doodle, or an American Bulldog, he is mixed. He is the "throwback" of the litter with his pretty brown/tan coat and unique features. We knew his mother before she passed and Charlie carries her personality. We hope you can enjoy his company as we have. Thanks for reading.

Story
We found Birdie through a local family whose dogs had an accidental litter of 10 puppies needing homes. After five dog-free years, we felt ready to welcome a new pet into our family. We brought Birdie home at 8 weeks old, and our son instantly fell in love with her. About five months later, we learned she had detached retinas in both eyes. We were devastated, but she adjusted well inside our home and learned her surroundings quickly. As her vision declined, she developed separation anxiety and became very uncomfortable leaving her familiar environment. Car rides and travel became extremely stressful for her. Recently, she developed glaucoma in one eye, and a veterinary ophthalmologist recommended removal of the left eye. With the financial strain of treatment, her increased anxiety, and the demands of full-time work and parenting, we made the incredibly difficult decision to find her a new home where she can feel safe and supported.

She is a very sweet and kind dog, loves kids and loves to play. She thrives with lots of attention and mental stimulation. She is about 4 years old and we got her from a rescue in southern California. Please expect doodle zoomies! She's honestly a great dog and extremely loving.
