Andi is a four-year-old doodle with a fabulous personality and a zest for life despite growing up in a family that didn’t have much time for her, never included her in family activities, and never took her to a groomer. Andi is looking for a family to spoil her forever, and if they happen to have a boat, that would be icing on the cake! She loves water related activities including boating with her foster family, and she’s always up for a game of fetch. Andi’s foster mom says “I took this sweet girl to get groomed and she did so well and was so patient with the groomer as she brushed and clipped all the mats off of her, and I know she feels better. We took Andi out on the boat for the first time on the river. She had a blast and loved it!!! She also travels well in the car.” It was very fortunate for Andi that she ended up in rescue though, because she received a thorough veterinary exam, and it was discovered that she had a mass on her leg. The mass was surgically removed, but the biopsy showed cancer, and her new family will have to understand that there’s a possibility the cancer will come back. Andi is a big girl at 73 pounds. She is housebroken and has great house manners. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines and preventives.
