Story
Pip is an amazing playful soul. She is smart and sweet and would love a family she could be a part of. We rescued her from a family who could not afford her after they experiences some loss in their family. Our family dog, does not like other dogs and our home doesn not seem like a good long term fit for Pip. So we would love to find a place for her where she can be happy and healthy. Pip turned 2 in August. She is about 55 lbs. A standard goldendoodle. She has been recently spayed and microchipped. She has a metal crate which she happily goes to each night and is comfortable indoors and out. She is good on a leash and we are working on healing. She loves her hoof chewie and is happy to bound around while learning to fetch. She loves cats and kids and wants to play with them. She knows sit, stay, down, and off (needs work with off when she gets excited). She would make a beautiful addition to the right home. Such a good girl.

Story
We are rehoming Charlie, a 5-year-old purebred Goldendoodle (born 8/14/19). Charlie, a neutered and microchipped goofball, loves walks and is food-motivated (occasionally counter-surfs). He is up-to-date on shots and great with kids, but needs more consistency than we can provide. Charlie takes his guard dog role seriously, protecting our home and barking at unfamiliar guests that enter our home without us present. This isn’t ideal for our lifestyle. What he needs: A household with fewer unattended visitors or a consistent routine A female couple, single woman, or heterosexual couple (he can be nervous of new men) An older owner who wants protection and can provide daily walks and affection A comfy bed or couch What scares him: Flashlights or sudden lights Quick movements and loud noises Initial fear of doorways, though mostly overcome Charlie is good with kids, loves to play with other dogs, and chases cats.

I have a lot of energy for long walks and play, but I also know how to relax. I’d rather be on your lap than anywhere else. I already have a lot skills, and am house trained, but I need help working on my leash manners. I wasn’t always treated well in the past by humans, so I need a gentle touch and some patience. I am a quick learner and will be able to adjust to any loving home’s schedule, as long as I get some exercise. I think I’d be best in a home with kids over 10. Unfortunately his person has passed away and family is unable to care for him. He is a lovely senior citizen who would be a great addition to your family. According to his relinquish form,  Ruger knows come, stay; is microchipped .Ruger is okay with other dogs, unsure about cats and definitely no squirrels. He is active, likes walks, follows family around the house, like children, likes most dogs and has lived with another dog. He sleeps in a dog bed and is crate and leash trained. Since he hates squirrels so much he may not like cats either.  Fee $200.00. $500.00 hold for neutering refunded upon proof of procedure.
