Story
Meet Winter! She is an adorable 9-month-old Goldendoodle/Labradoodle puppy, weighing in at 38 pounds, we think that she will weigh 45 to 50 lbs full grown. With her creamy white coat and dark apricot ears, she's as beautiful as she is sweet! Winter embodies all the wonderful traits of a Doodle: intelligence, friendliness, and a loving demeanor. As a playful puppy, Winter is full of energy and enthusiasm. She loves to run and play with her canine friends at the sanctuary, so a home with plenty of puppy toys is a must and ideally a playful canine companion. As she grows, she will need some leash training to prepare her for outings, and she's already off to a great start with her potty training! Please keep in mind that her breed requires regular professional grooming to maintain her lovely coat. While Doodles make fantastic family pets, we're looking for households with children aged 8 years and older. Since she is a puppy she will need a lot of time and attention. Additionally, it's important for potential adopters to be homeowners with a securely fenced yard and to have experience with this breed. Winter is scheduled to be spayed soon, but we're eager to find her forever home now. She is microchipped and current on her vaccinations, ready to become a wonderful companion for the right family. If you're interested in giving Winter the loving home she deserves, apply today! Here is a list of things that should help us answer you in a more timely manner. 1. When you apply please always use the same email address. If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it. 2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why) a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response. b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get. c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to. 3. For the AFC website (scroll down to the bio at the bottom it says (apply to adopt today- click that link) www.animalfriendsconnect.org 4. For Petfinders ( scroll down to the biography then click the adoption link) http://animalfriendsconnect.org/adoption-application-dogs/ 5. For Adopt a Pet (scroll way down past “Ask about me”) you will see the biography and underneath that will be the adoption questionnaire link.
