Teddy was rescued from a hoarding situation in Jan. Teddy is currently being fostered by a family that originally wanted to adopt him, unfortunately things are not working out. Teddy is wonderful with other dogs but is very fearful of people, which is typical of dogs coming from hoarding situations. He would do best in a home that has another confident friendly dog that he can learn from. Teddy is housebroken but will require a yard as he has not learned to walk on a leash yet.

Louie is a 6 year old golden doodle. Louie is very affectionate and loves to be touched. Louie does not realize his size and does like to jump up to give hugs. Louie is very good with children and other dogs. Louie does so well with cats. Louie enjoys short walks and treats. He does dig in the dirt at times. He is a overall great dog just needing affection and time.

My wife brought home Evie when she went shopping. Someone was gonna tie her to a pole. We have our son and 2 other dogs and not much room. We want to give her a home that she can feel fully loved in. She’s never had a problem with our son and doesn’t have an issue with our smaller dogs.

ATTENTION:  All of our dogs are in private foster homes.  We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs.  If you find a dog you want to meet in person, please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application.    We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt. // // Introducing Dudley!  Dudley is a 2 year old, 55+ pound Sheepadoodle,  Dudley is described by his fosters as a “Big Hunk of Love”.  He plays hard and naps hard.  He absolutely loves his walk and playing in the yard, but also loves napping throughout the house.  He is great with other dogs and with kids.  Dudley is generally potty trained but will need an early morning potty break to avoid accidents.  He is just the sweetest boy who can’t wait to find his forever family to adore.  Dudley is deaf but that does not slow him down one bit.  Are you the lucky family to take Dudley home?  He is neutered, microchipped and current on vaccines. His adoption fee is $300. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.   Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs,   vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Tucker is an 11 month gentle giant!! He LOVES People and all dogs. Tucker is potty trained, rarely barks when you are with him, and loves to be active. I love him so much and I am extremely sad to give him up. The reason I need to re home him is because he has severe separation anxiety. I have tried many times to crate train him and he does not like to be left alone. He will whine and bark the entire time he is left. I am looking for a new owner that can cater to his needs and can get him the right training to correct this behavior. I want Tucker to have the best life and go to the right owner.
