He was matted, and he was surviving by looking through trash. After being fed kibble a few times, he quickly opened his heart and accepted human touch. He appeared to have been abandoned and looking at him look for his family broke our hearts, leading to his rescue. 3⃣ Basic Information ❗As a young puppy, he may need training in areas such as separation anxiety, potty habits, biting, nipping, whining, disorderly, howling, and barking. ❗It is difficult to predict his shedding and adult size because his parents are unknown. ❗ Puppies under 10 months of age grow quickly so his current appearance may be different from those in the photos. * With People: Isn’t shy at all and really likes humans. Enjoys human touch, and has a playful and energetic personality. * With Dogs: Plays energetically with another puppy, #AdogsOkie at our Center. * With Cats: Hasn't properly met a cat yet. * Separation Anxiety: Unknown, as he lives in a communal setting at the Center. * Potty Training: Is pottying outdoors at the Center. Will need basic training in a home environment. * Hygiene: Recieved professsional grooming at the groomer’s and did very well, perhaps because he enjoys human touch. * Walks: Hasn’t had a proper walk yet, as he’s only recently arrived at the Center. * Car Sickness: Did well in the car with no motion sickness. * Biting: No nipping at all. There may be some chewing of objects or nibbling of hands and feet when playing, during the teething period. * Barking: Doesn’t bark at all. * Likes: We wonder if there’s anything he dislikes, since he seems to like everything!. * Personality: Has a happy-go-lucky personality and is very playful. Hi… I’m Blanc 🤍 For a long time, I stayed very quiet. So quiet that people sometimes didn’t even notice I was there. I spent almost a year in a shelter, just waiting… not really knowing what I was waiting for. But now, I’ve been given a chance. A real chance to start my life again—with a family. Since leaving the shelter, I’ve been discovering the world little by little. At first, everything felt new and unfamiliar… but something has been changing inside me. I’ve started to wag my tail more, to play, to show my little bits of affection. I think… I’m learning how to be happy. I like people. I really do. Even if I’m a little shy at first, my heart warms up quickly. And with other dogs, I get along just fine—I enjoy having friends around me. My fur is soft and fluffy, and I love gentle touches. If you sit beside me and reach out your hand, I’ll slowly come closer… and maybe, one day, I’ll lean into you without hesitation. There are still many things I don’t know yet. I might not understand house rules right away. I’m still learning about walks, about potty training, about how to live inside a home. Hello, my name is Snow! I am approximately four years old and weigh 80 pounds. I am a beautiful girl. My people think I may be a Retriever mix. My mom looked like a Golden retriever but it’s anyone’s guess who my dad is. I’m a very loving girl. I’m very playful and get along well with other dogs. I have never been cat tested so my people are going to say no to a home with furry felines. I would do well with an active family. I would love to go on walks and be out and about. I ride well in the car and would love to try some hikes and be one with nature! I am house trained, but I have never been in a crate. It hasn’t been necessary where I am. I can be a little shy when I first meet new people, but I warm up pretty quickly. I am a smart girl and learn things quickly.
