Ready for my new home now! You can contact us directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com, or fill out an application at either https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other  I need an active Retriever/Husky mix family home.  Phoebe is a 12 mos old 39 lb  Retriever/Husky mix.  I will do best with an active owner with a secure 6 ft fenced yard.  I am shy with new people for a few seconds then I LOVE YOU.  I like belly rubs and like to be very loving to you.  I do like other dogs, but I can be the only dog.  I will do best with someone that works from home or someone that is a caregiver and stays at home or has a securely fenced working farm where I can hang with you.  I will need continued dog training and leash training. Since I was found on the streets, just need someone to continue to work on my confidence, but I learn quick/like to please my person. No apartments or cats.   This is a courtesy post for Helotes Humane Society You can contact us directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com, or fill out and application at either https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other  All adopted pups and dogs are transported to USA and Canada families when fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. For information on how to adopt me, please contact my foster parents at info@dogdiggityrescue.com. Story
Zuko is an extremely sweet, gentle boy who deserves a home where he is the center of attention. He's a nervous guy sometimes (trash cans and loud noises are scary), but loves all people and other dogs. Because of this, Zuko needs an owner who will NOT use shock collars or any aversive methods in training. He is sensitive and this can cause further issues with fear. We are unsure how he would do with children since he is rambunctious and doesn't know his own size. A fenced in yard is a must. Once he takes one walk and plays with our other dogs, he is calm and chills out indoors, but needs daily exercise for this to happen. He has had training and knows basic commands, walks well on his harness when the leash is hooked to the front, and is very treat motivated. He loves toys and fetching! Zuko is a silly, goofy guy who would make someone so happy. We are in no rush to re-home him since he's an amazing dog and are looking for the right home for him.

Story
Milo is a loving Mini Goldendoodle, born on May 18, 2022, from a breeder in eastern Washington. We've had him since he was 6 weeks old, and he's been a wonderful companion. Sadly, due to my wife’s growing fear of dogs during her pregnancy, we feel it’s best to rehome Milo so he doesn't spend most of the day in a crate to ensure he gets the attention and freedom he deserves. About Milo: Crate Trained: Milo knows to go outside to relieve himself but hasn’t had enough free roam to confirm he’s fully house-trained. Care: I groom him myself but haven’t been able to trim his nails—this will require some patience or a good groomer. Personality: He’s smart, energetic, and loves companionship. We’re asking an adoption fee to ensure a committed new family, but it’s negotiable for the right home. We’ll provide his crate, bedding, grooming and other supplies to help him settle in. If you’re ready to give Milo a loving forever home, please reach out!

Story
Russ is such a sweet boy. He loves ALL the attention and has plenty of energy to do anything you ask of him! He lays down when nothing exciting is happening but is always up for play. He is great with other dogs and kids- not sure about cats. He is house trained fine but has chewed a kids toy here or there when left out. He loves a good bone to chew. He is 4 years old, we have had had him 2.5 of those years. We love him dearly but he needs more time and exercise outside the house and yard than we are able to give. He is a snuggler and his absolute favorite thing is to chase a laser light. He is 50% poodle, 25% golden retriever, and 25% yellow lab, so he is not hypoallergenic. He takes a little while to warm up, so he requires a patient owner who will work with him on manners, as he occasionally jumps, and pulls on a leash. He is a good boy, and I think these behaviors will mellow with more attention and time.

Story
Welcome Bluebell to CCPAL Rescue. She is an Golden Retriever/Shepherd mix is our best guess. She weighs about 65 pounds. She is 4 years old. She is pretty good on the leash and is very affectionate. She is definitely a people person and likes strangers. She has one blue eye and one golden brown eye. She has the feathering of the Golden Retriever. She is potty trained and she does good with other dogs. She likes car rides and she has some nice commands under her belt. She knows sit, down, stay and takes treats nicely. She is in a home with a wonderful family that now has to take care of their older mom with dementia. Bluebell is a little big and young for an older lady with dementia so Bluebell needs to find a better home that has time to spend with her walking, jogging and hiking. Bluebell is good with other dogs and she will make an active family a great companion. Her long legs would make her good at keeping stride with a jogger. She is not over the top active and likes to rest and be affectionate as well. She would be fine with a moderately active family. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older She is healthy and has had her year long heart guard shot. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Welcome Sage to CCPAL foster program. Sage is a 6 to 8 month old Golden Retriever/Collie mix. She is medium sized at about 30 pounds. She is good with other dogs. She likes the water, playing with sticks and walks nicely right beside you. She has a soft coat and will make a nice walking companion. I do think she will stay medium sized. She is spayed, vaccinated and healthy. She currently is in foster care in Tarpley Texas. Her and the other dogs in foster care here are up for adoption through CCPAL Rescue. Sage would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Sage is not food protective and gets lots of off leash play time with other dogs her size. She is a wonderful dog and through some of the puppy antics but still young enough to raise with the attributes you want in an adult. Someone that isn’t gone all day every day is best for any new rescue dog. You will need time to finish off her training. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Handsome Samson! Samson is a one year old gorgeous golden retriever, who at over 110 pounds currently is a bit on the heavy side and would do best in an adult only home. His best placement will be with devoted owner(s) who can help him get to ideal play weight, around 90 pounds. This big boy loves to play, and would do well in a pack, he can exhibit resource guarding when it comes to food and treats, so an experienced owner would be best for Samson. Samson has already been neutered, comes Microchipped, and just wants a home of his own for the holidays!
