Story
Lake decided that maybe a new hairdo would help him find his forever home - and we manage to catch it on film!!!. Lake is only about 2 years old, and is such a good boy. We really can't understand why he hasn't been snatched up by some very lucky adopter. Lake was found injured, having been hit by a car and taken to the local shelter. His hip was broken, but has been surgically repaired - and he' as good as new with just a slight limp (which doesn;t slow him down one bit)! He is fully vetted, housebroken (but is still VERY puppy so a crate or safe space is highly recommended when he is left alone), vaccinated, and ready to go on an adventure with his new forever people! This dog is a happy puppy that will need some training. If you would like to offer Lake a forever home, please submit an application which you can find on our website: www.almostheaven-goldens-retriever-rescue.org

Story
Sad to make this post but due to allergies and our busy schedules we are looking to rehome our English Cream Golden Retriever. He is nine months old and is fully vaccinated and up to date. He is a nice playful pup and loves affection. He is a family dog and is good with kids. He is house-trained. Unfortunately, we feel like he doesn’t get as much time as he needs and deserves and with allergies it makes it harder. He has not been neutered yet. The location he stays is in Edinburg, Virginia.

Story
Meet Loving Levi, an affectionate  3-year-old, 55-pound Goldendoodle with a heart as big as his fluffy curls! Levi is searching for a forever home with a fenced yard and a playful dog companion companion or two. Full of life, love, and loyalty—the three “L’s” that inspired his name—this charming boy will be your loyal, fun-loving friend. Levi thrives on companionship and will happily be your “Velcro dog,” always close by. He adores humans and other animals alike, and while he’s not a fan of being left alone for long, he’s calm and content in his foster home, spending time with his furry friends when his foster mom is away. When she’s home, Levi loves curling up by her feet as she works, and he’ll always greet you with enthusiasm and kisses, making you feel truly appreciated! With his soft poodle coat and an adorable white patch on his forehead (perfect for giving kisses!), Levi is as sweet as he is handsome. Although he currently doesn’t live with kids, Levi is always gentle and polite around them, making him a wonderful addition to any family. He’s well-mannered in his foster home, uses the doggie door to go outside, and gets along well with cats. Car rides and walks are some of his favorite activities, and he’s ready to join you on every adventure. Levi is a healthy boy—neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm prevention, and microchipped. He’s just waiting for a family to share his endless love and loyalty. Critter Cavalry Animal Rescue is a Middle Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) dedicated to saving high-risk animals like Levi. As part of our mission, we travel to the Northeast weekly, bringing pets like Levi closer to their forever families. For more about our drop-off points and times, visit www.CritterCavalry.com. To adopt Levi, contact us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. Levi is ready to bring love and joy to his new family—could it be yours? PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 2, 2025, 10:06 pm

Story
IF YOU ARE VIEWING THIS LISTING ON PETFIN DER OR ADOPT-A-PET, please visit: Caninesandkittiesrescue.org to access adoption requirements, more information and pictures. Meet Jack - Jack is 3-month-old puppy and was recently rescued from Texas. Jack and his sister were rescued from the streets, as many Texas dogs live this way. He was born into stray life and is now acclimating to being in a home. He is very shy but also very sweet and is coming out of his shell. He is doing an impeccable job with crate training and house training. Because he is so shy, he will be required to go to a home with another young and confident dog to help her build her own confidence. Dogs learn confidence from dogs, not people. Jack will need a buddy who is youthful and will be like a big sister or big brother. He is not a match for a senior dog. There are no exceptions to these requirements. We must do what is best for Jack! Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal. We do not know this litters parents therefore we are taking a guess of their breed simply from visual characteristics. Puppies require an adopter who is at home a good portion of the day to continue training - no exceptions! This puppy has received vet care from a veterinarian, is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and microchipped. This puppy will need to be neutered at 6 months of age. The Adoption Fee for this puppy is $400.00. The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the pup is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100.00 fee will be returned to the adopter once the animal has been sterilized. We will provide information on this process during the approval process. ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs and/or all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So, adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many! ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal. **Please visit www.caninesandkittiesrescue.org to complete our non-binding application.**
