Story
We adopted this sweet boy in 2020. We are unsure of his age but we would guess around he is around 6 years old. Gatsby is the perfect family dog, he is as gentle as can be and is great with other animals and children. He has had lots of compliments from his groomers in the past with his behavior and sweetness. He does have a bit of anxiety when it comes to certain floor surfaces, but he loves to lay on carpet. He loves going outside and running around, but also is a great dog to snuggle with. He is fully house trained and responds to his name well when called. We hate to lose him, but as our family has grown and are now moving to a house without a yard, we feel he would be happier in a new home with a fenced in yard, ( he has been known to wander without a fence). Gatsby loves everyone he meets and we are sure he would adjust well with anyone. He is definitely an attention and affection seeker, so we highly recommend adopting him if you have time to show him some love!

He adores human affection and will melt into your touch, always ready to soak up love and cuddles. While Gatsby is sweet with people, he's more of a solo explorer when it comes to other dogs. He prefers his own company over rowdy playtime and would thrive as the only dog in a home. If another pup challenges him, he may react, so a peaceful, single-dog household would be best for him. This handsome gentleman walks well on a leash, enjoys car rides, and is ready to settle into home life. He may take a little time to adjust to new surroundings, but with patience and love, he will blossom into the loyal, graceful companion he was meant to be.
