Story
Sad to make this post but due to allergies and our busy schedules we are looking to rehome our English Cream Golden Retriever. He is nine months old and is fully vaccinated and up to date. He is a nice playful pup and loves affection. He is a family dog and is good with kids. He is house-trained. Unfortunately, we feel like he doesn’t get as much time as he needs and deserves and with allergies it makes it harder. He has not been neutered yet. The location he stays is in Edinburg, Virginia.

IF YOU ARE VIEWING THIS LISTING ON PETFINDER OR ADOPT-A-PET, please visit: Caninesandkittiesrescue.org to access adoption requirements, more information and pictures. Meet Elsa! Elsa is about 11 weeks old and weighs about 13 lbs. We think she looks like a Lab/Terrier mix (Just a guess). We have no idea how big this puppy will be full grown as we do not know the mom or dad. Elsa is a confident puppy who is curious and playful. Elsa has the puppy mouthiness, but her foster family is working on this with her and she needs a family dedicated to her training. She is strong-willed and will require an adopter who is a pack leader. No first time dog owners! Elsa is doing well with her house and crate training, but it is a work in progress:) Baby puppies will require the adopter to be at home a good portion of the day to continue training - no exceptions! This puppy is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped and will need to be spayed at the age of 6 months. The Adoption Fee for this puppy $400.00. A refundable spay/neuter deposit will be added to the adoption fee for puppies and kittens. ***Please note, this pup's immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age and therefore, s/he is not suited for Apartment/Condo living or Town homes without a private fenced yard and will not be able to go to public places where s/he could possibly be exposed to the germs of unvaccinated dogs, such as PetSmart/PetCo and dog parks until s/he is 16 weeks old*** ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the pup is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100.00 fee will be returned to the adopter once the animal has been sterilized. We will provide information on this process during the approval process. ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs and/or all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So, adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many! ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** **Please visit www.caninesandkittiesrescue.org to complete our non-binding application.**

Story
Hello, We are giving our two Golden’s up for adoption. Unfortunately we can no longer care for our dogs due to our current situation and busy schedule. We’ve had them since they were pups. They are currently 3 and 4 years old. Honey is 3 and Toby is 4. They are good with kids and are very loyal to the family. We do prefer a family to adopt them together. However, we do understand that having two may not be affordable for everyone. So we are considering giving them up individually. We hope to find a loving family willing to take them in and give them the time and love they deserve. For more information please feel free to contact me at (xxx) xxx-xxxx . Serious inquiries only.
