Story
Meet Zoro, a young, lively spirit brimming with energy and curiosity. His playful antics are sure to bring joy to any home. Not only is he friendly, but he`s also a cuddly companion who loves to snuggle while on your lap for some petting. His easygoing, friendly, playful nature allows him to get along with dogs, cats, and children alike. Zoro weighs 43 pounds and is leash trained, making walks a breeze, but he`ll need your help to learn about house training. He lived outside and never got a chance to learn but he did learn about crate training while in a foster home. He previously only knew one command but in Chinese so we have no idea what it is and he`s not telling. His foster said he has learned the come, no, and down commands. In English! He might run away while off leash but will come back if you call him. We don`t know what language you need to speak though. His favorite activities are car rides, running, toys, and chase. His protective nature means he`ll always look out for his family. But what truly sets Zoro apart is his lovable demeanor. This social butterfly is ready to share his love with a forever family who will appreciate his zest for life and endless affection. He was given up when his family moved and couldn`t take him along. Adopt Zoro and bring home not just a pet, but a loyal friend and a source of unending happiness. Story
Meet Tsukiko, a young, energetic soul with a heart full of love and curiosity. Her playful and friendly nature is sure to bring joy to any home. Tsukiko`s intelligence is evident in her quick learning and problem-solving skills. She`s already leash trained and knows the sit, come, down, no, and off commands. House training is still on her to do list. She`s a bundle of sweetness and affection, always ready for a cuddle session. Putting her 35-pound body on your lap for some petting is a goal for this loving youngster. While she`s a bit dominant with other dogs and possessive of her food, she is also friendly and playful for those into rough housing like her. She is cautious, submissive, and fearful around cats. She can be rough and mouthy with children and a bit noisy and jumpy, so she`d do best in a home with older kids or adults. Tsukiko`s energetic and intense personality makes every day an adventure but she needed more than her family could offer her to keep her stimulated and out of mischief. Her lively spirit and loving nature make her the perfect companion for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and is looking for a loyal friend. Her favorite activities are agility, car rides, running, tugging, toys, walks, and wrestling. She`s eager to share them all with you. Adopt lovable Tsukiko and experience the joy of her endless love and playful spirit. Story
Boo Boo is brimming with energy and always ready to play. Her friendly nature and gentle spirit are infectious, bringing joy to everyone she meets although she may be slow to warm up to strangers. She loves her canine friends and is always eager to make new ones but she can be picky so you`ll need to bring your dog to meet her. She does not want to be friends with a cat. She weighs 38 pounds and likes car rides, fetch, running, tugging, walks, water, and chase. Alert and curious, she`s a quick learner, already mastering commands like sit, come, and fetch. She`s a bit of a jumper due to her excitable nature. She`ll need you to help her with house training but she does well on a leash. She needs to live with kids at least 12 years old who respect her space. She thrives on petting and gives the sweetest kisses in return. She`s a good guard dog and barks to alert her family of danger as she protects them. Her playful and active disposition promises endless fun. Please adopt lovable Boo Boo and fill your life with her boundless love and joy. Story
Meet Jacob, a playful and calm adult dog. He is laidback, quiet, leash trained and house trained, making him an easy fit for any home. He loves a good game of fetch and car rides, and is always ready to explore new scents and sights. He enjoys agility, fetch, toys, and walks. His obedience and intelligence come through right away. Jacob`s friendly nature makes him a hit with children; he`s always gentle and patient with them. But because he is big and strong at 80 lbs, he`ll need to live with kids at least 10 years old. He knows the sit, stay, come, no, down, and off commands. He was only given up because of his owners` divorce. His calm nature makes him an absolute joy to be around. His deep, resonating `hound bark` may seem intimidating but he is actually harmless. It`s just his unique way of communicating his excitement. He is not comfortable with larger or dominant dogs, so his foster recommends Jacob to go into homes with smaller dogs that give him his space. It is also encouraged to bring your dog to meet him to be sure they get along. Adopt Jacob and let him show what a gentle companion he is.For additional information, please reach out to his foster, Ram, at CAPdogfoster@gmail.com or (281) 202-9076. Story
Meet Brady, a bold, spirited adult dog who`s always ready for a game of fetch. Or a hundred games. His intelligence shines through his quick learning of new tricks and commands. He has already shown that he knows sit, shake, and down. Brady is packed full of energy, often seen jumping around in excitement. Despite his playful nature, Brady is also independent, capable of entertaining himself when needed. His friendly demeanor makes him a pleasure to be around but his strength and determination can be a challenge. Brady`s curiosity keeps him alert, always eager to confidently explore his surroundings, putting his nose everywhere to check everything out. He seems to be house trained, a testament to his smart nature. Brady`s loud bark is a sign of his confidence as he leads you around while on a leash using his full 70 pounds. Despite his energetic nature, Brady knows when to calm down, showing his well-rounded personality. We haven`t seen him interact with children yet but he`ll need to live with kids at least 12 years old because of his strength and prey drive. Cats or other small pets could be an issue for him. He is very determined when seeing other dogs and seems to be very picky about his canine friends so you`ll need to bring your dog to meet him to be sure they are compatible. Adopt Brady, and you`ll have a loyal, fun-loving companion who`s always ready and eager for the next adventure. Story
Meet Spot, a young canine bursting with life and energy. His playful nature is contagious, and he`s sure to keep you entertained with his antics. Spot is a brave and friendly soul, always ready to greet other dogs with a wagging tail and play with them at the dog park. His sweetness will melt your heart, and his cuddly nature will make those quiet moments extra special. Spot does have a playful roughness with children so he`ll need to live with kids at least 10 years old until he learns not to nip during playtime. He has a penchant for chewing indicating his need for some training. This was why his recent adopters returned him. He needs help with house training and leash training but he won`t run away while off leash. He does know the sit command. He weighs 31 pounds and his energetic spirit is balanced by his quiet demeanor, making him a wonderful companion. Spot`s jumpy personality is simply a testament to his youthful spirit. Spot is not just a dog; he`s a bundle of joy, a friend, a companion, and a family member. He deserves a loving home where he can be guided, loved, and cherished. Adopt Spot and experience the pure, unadulterated love only a pet can give. (tw 12/18/2024)
