Story
Say hello to Trumpet, our beautiful golden girl! While she may start off a bit reserved, it doesn't take long for her loving nature to shine through. Trumpet is incredibly sweet and affectionate, quickly forming deep bonds with those she trusts. She's a hug enthusiast, her specialty is wrapping her paws around her favorite people in a loving embrace. Trumpet thrives on playtime, especially when it involves her doggie friends! Another bonus about sweet Trumpet is she is 100% housebroken, making her transition into your home a breeze. If you're looking for a loyal and lovable companion to brighten your days, sweet Trumpet might just be the perfect match for you! From her foster: Trumpet is a good family dog, with the potential to be great. She is a loving, caring, please-pet-me, dog. She is still a little timid, but her confidence is growing every day. She approaches dogs and people with concern, but the front-loaded fear is gone. I predict that she will always be generally cautious, but she is getting more bold (sometimes by the hour). She is primarily motivated by love and attention, but treats work great too. With two ways to motivate her, she would embrace intermediate and advanced training. When I say she has the potential to be great, she could do some more advanced skills like tricks, searches, or rally, if she is paired with a focused, consistent owner that knows how to make themselves the center of fun and love in Trumpet's world. Even if she was paired with a family with limited dog training skills, she would enjoy obedience classes, and would become a barrel of fun. For a stereotypical family, it would be a two week to one month journey for Trumpet to acclimate. For a dog whisperer, it would be about one to two weeks. If she could receive 15 minute training sessions every couple hours, for the first couple weeks, she would vault into great status. She wants to help. She wants to be involved. She doesn't have any destructive habits. She doesn't chew. She has never grabbed anything we didn't give her, with two exceptions in the first few days, where she proudly brought us dirty clothes. She's never done it since. She has learned the commands sit and down. When we first got her, there were still baby bites, but that is gone now. She is timid around bigger dogs, but finds her footing in a few minutes. She will eventually be excellent with kids, but she would need a month or so of supervised time with kids before she is set free; at present, she is still too excited and worried about the natural enthusiasm of kids, but she settles with just small, firm kindness. She is patient, and kind, and loving. You can become faster friends with her if you give love, and kindness, and treats. Trick: if you lie down on your back, she accepts that as non-threatening, and she will accept you fast. She doesn't know fetch or tug-of-war yet, but we are working to introduce those games this week (first week of Nov). In time, with a patient owner (who speaks her language), she will learn both. She does great in the car. We spent extra time making the truck a safe place for her, and she goes in and out with no problems. She is very quiet, and a good sleeper.

Story
these girls were rescued in Canyon Lake TX, a kind family has been fostering them, getting them spayed and they are super sweet and beautiful, they have bonded to each other surviving the streets for several months.sweet dogs around 10-11 months old. 1. Both are females 2. Fully vaccinated 3. Need to be adopted together since they are extremely bonded 4. They are house broken, great with other dogs and not too bad with our feral kitten we acquired. 5. They can now walk on a leash, know their names and will come to you when you call them. 6. They are very happy pups and love to run and play with one another. 7. Also are very food driven. It's like they can't get enough food.

Story
Simba is a beautiful purebred Golden Retriever. He has a kind heart and lots of energy! Simba will be 3 years old on January 1st and have had him since he was only 3 months old. Simba has an issue with resource guarding, and with too many incidents lately, my wife and I unfortunately do not have the time to help him with this behavior. We have a 4 month old baby and we are worried this behavior could come up later on down the road and could potentially traumatize our daughter and we would hate to se that happen. This is the only negative behavior we have seen frol him through the last year and a half so we would love for him to go to a home where his new parents could help him work that out so he can thrive and be the best Golden Retriever there ever was.

Story
Well howdy folks, my name is Pete and I`m just a good ol` boy! I`m a bit reserved around some people at first, but once I warm up to you, I`m the best friend you could ever ask for in this world. I love nothing more than spending time with my humans, going for long walks and getting all the snuggles I can handle. When we`re out for a walk, I walk really well on a leash once I get my energy out. But don`t worry, I won`t pull you all over the place. I like to take my time and explore all the smells and sights around me.Now, let me tell you, I am the neatest boy in the world. I never mess up my blankets or my kennel. I like to keep everything neat and tidy, just like a good ol` southern gentleman should. But here`s a secret: I think I`m a lap dog. That`s right, when I`m really excited, I`ll start tippy toe tapping around and just can`t resist the urge to jump right up on your lap. I can`t help it - I just love getting up close and personal with my humans. So if you`re looking for a loyal, loving and cuddly and clean companion, then look no further than me, Pete. I promise to be your best friend for life, always by your side through thick and thin. Come on over and let`s get to know each other better.
