My foster mommy thinks I am the most beautiful and sweetest out of all my siblings. Every time she takes me outside onto the grass, I always do my business, which makes me well on my way to being potty trained. I love following my foster mommy everywhere. After she takes me outside, I always follow her back into the house. I’m a good girl! I love playing with different toys, but most of all, I love getting kisses. I also sleep through the night in my kennel to get recharged for the next day. I haven’t had any accidents lately and my mommy said she is very proud of me! Ryker was found as an older puppy rummaging through garbage for food when he was taken in and sheltered in a good samaritan’s garage for about a month. Now as a K-9 Angel, he is acclimating to indoor family life like a champ! Ryker is loving, gentle, happy, and naturally inclined to go with the flow which serves him well since he is currently being fostered with 3 dog (2 large, 12 year old mixed breeds + a small, 4 year old cavachon) and 4 human (aged 11-2) foster siblings! Ryker is fully potty trained, leash trained, and is being crate trained, but not a crate fan. While Ryker is blessed with inherent good looks and an amazing disposition, he is still a puppy with puppy energy. He also has zero awareness of his size and strength which makes it all the more important that his furever home continues providing him with gentle guidance and the consistent boundaries he’s receiving currently. This smart boy is highly responsive to positive reinforcement and eager to please. Even though his foster siblings incessantly bark at all passersby, anyone who rings the doorbell, and all visible delivery people, Ryker couldn’t be bothered and doesn’t even join in the chorus. That said, if and when he does bark, it’s can be heard far and wide! Ryker loves to play with people, toys, balls, and other dogs and will do well in a house with other dogs or as a single dog. Also great with children! Ryker is a male Retriever mix with an estimated date of birth of 6/24/2024. He weighs 50 lbs (as of 1/18).
