Story
Meet Nova! Nova was born on May 21, 2022, from a Pitbull mom and a Golden Retriever dad. She is a sweet and loyal girl who gets along great with male dogs, but she does not get along with my female pit — which is the only reason I’m looking for a new home for her. Nova was originally house trained, and although she loves being outdoors now, she still listens very well and enjoys attention. She would do best in a home where she can be the only female dog. I truly hate to let her go, but I know there is a better, calmer home out there where she can thrive. If needed, I can get all her vaccines updated before she goes to her new home at no charge. There is no rehoming fee — I just want her to go to a loving, safe family. If you think Nova could be a good fit, please reach out — she’s ready for her forever home. 💛

Story
Charlie has been with our family since he was 6 weeks old. At one year old, he was formally trained and knows basic commands. He gets daily walks on or off-leash, is crate trained, and spends most of his time with the family. He LOVES to run and his favorite past-time is playing catch with his frisbee. He also loves to cuddle (he thinks he's a lap dog!). He really is the perfect companion. He loves the freedom of being off-leash and doesn't run after things (other than the occasional squirrel!), but he's also really good on-leash. We hope to find a loving home for Charlie soon so please reach out if interested! Charlie does get easily stressed/over-stimulated and has snapped at people in the past. Unfortunately, our home is pretty chaotic with elementary kids, college kids, and their friends coming and going all the time. He is an AMAZING companion, and we love him so much. Charlie would thrive in a calmer home with opportunities to play outdoors.

Story
Leo is going to be 7 in November of this year. He is a very sweet loving dog, he is somewhat active but definitely likes to relax and nap. Unfortunately over the last 5 years he has become more dog aggressive, he does fine with my other dog but they will very rarely get into it with each other. I have cats and he’s been fine with them other than when he eats. He hasn’t been around kids so I’m not sure how he would be with younger baby/toddlers but believe he’d be great with older kids. He’s up to date on his rabies shot

Meet Mistletoe — the sweetest little holiday miracle 🎄🐾 Mistletoe is the definition of sweet. This precious pup adores snuggles, gentle pets, and playful moments, and she’s learning the ropes of being happily spoiled in her amazing foster home. After being found abandoned on a rural road in East Texas just before Christmas, Mistletoe and her sister were saved by a kind-hearted animal lover and given the gift of loving foster homes — truly a Christmas miracle. Mistletoe can be just a tiny bit timid when meeting new people, but offer her a treat and a soft, reassuring voice and she’ll quickly warm up. Her gentle nature and trusting heart shine through once she feels safe. In her foster home, Mistletoe is thriving. She’s learning important life skills like pottying outside, walking on a leash, and crate training. She absolutely loves playing with her canine foster siblings, so a friendly, playful pup in her future home would be a wonderful bonus. From the moment you meet her, Mistletoe’s adorable face and kind, loving demeanor will steal your heart. She’s searching for a forever home with patient, loving people she can always count on. RTH minimum adoption age is 25 years old. Date of Birth: 2 years (approx) Location: CONROE, TEXAS (For out of state adopters, transport will be arranged once adopted and the cost of transport is included in the out-of-state adoption fee.) Handsome, kind, and loving—Leonardo has it all. This sweet boy loves other dogs and enjoys hanging out with his humans just as much. You’ll often find him napping on the couch with his canine siblings, sunbathing in the yard, playing chase, or simply soaking up life as a cherished member of his foster family. Leonardo was saved within hours of being euthanized at the Houston City Shelter, and we are so grateful his foster family made this short-term sacrifice. Because of them, Leonardo got a second chance—and wow, what a gift he is. He’s an absolute doll, and you’re going to fall in love with him instantly. 🐾❤️ Texas In state Adoption Fee - $175* Out of state Adoption Fee - $375* ** See all of our adoptable pets at roamstohomes.com
