IF YOU APPLY and if WE APPROVE YOU it means we are assuming when you meet any of our dogs and fall in love you're ready to ADOPT AND HIM OR HER HOME! Great Family Dog! Bright Bubbly Beautiful BRUNO! Bruno is a lovely Golden Retriever -Aussie mix. The perfect blend of loving and faithful with smart and loyal, Bruno is a great size and would be an excellent playmate for a familiar size female or another submissive male buddy! Bruno would be great for dog-savvy kids over 10; he is so lovable and gentle but he’s still a young, retriever-herding mix so he has incredible energy. Bruno can be a bounding buddy-dog when outdoors, he can have an energy level of 8-9. But once Bruno has playtime his energy will be 5-6 and he will snuggle on the sofa, binge TV or just lie at your feet while you’re working. Bruno greeted me sweetly and within 5 minutes was crawling into my lap on the chair - obviously I was allowing him to do this because I wanted to evaluate how gentle he is. Bruno is very gentle but STILL a puppyish age and deserving of attention, continued training and a lot of playtime. Bruno has been around kids 10 and 11 who adored him. He knows basic commands and is completely housebroken and crate-trained. Bruno just ADORES his “fur-foster brother” a Lab mix who is older but indulges in Bruno’s desire to play. We really want to find Bruno a home with a yard and an active companion dog so no matter what his humans are doing he has a best “fur-friend.” Bruno is a great walking, jogging and running partner. His foster Dad has been working with him on recall and responding off-leash. Bruno is really smart, a quick learner and eager to please. For example he is able to Sit and watch a squirrel and no longer has to try and chase (on leash). This attention always needs continued training. If you’re interested in meeting Bruno for adoption please complete our application below then: TEXT SARA: 214-549-9905 Thank you! www.dashdog.org General Info - PLEASE READ! *Our $450 adoption fee is based on the cost of rescuing, transporting and vetting each dog; we do not try to compete on prices with municipal shelters whose funds are paid by the city.
