Story
Salem is a high energy dog with a need for focused attention that she cannot currently receive from our family. She's extremely loving, loyal and would make an excellent running companion. She plays well with other dogs but does not like sharing. The more room she has to explore independence, the better she adapts. We can provide full DNA testing showing her as primarily Golden Retriever, with a secondary emphasis as standard poodle. By some definitions, she may be a 'goldendoodle,' but her void-black coat and golden retriever grace stand out much more distinctly than the accepted definition of that breed. We are looking to rehome her because her energy and excitement is too much for our home with multiple small children. She has been on a Banfield (through PetSmart) wellness plan since she was adopted at 8wks old from a rescue in Denison, TX. Banfield also did her spay. Her Wisdom DNA panel revealed no genetic marker for any health concerns.

Or copy and paste this link into your browser...https://form.jotform.us/asr628/ShortAdoptionInquiryThis is the fast way to meeting your new pet.Mac is a young female dog with a heart of gold and a playful spirit. She is athletic, friendly, funny, and smart, and she`s sure to bring joy to your life. Although her breed and mixes are unknown, she is the perfect size for any home. Mac would make an excellent addition to an active family or a solo adventurer. She loves to run, play fetch, and explore new places, and she`s always up for an adventure. She would thrive in a home with lots of love and affection, and would love to have a backyard to run around in. Mac has not been tested around other dogs, so we do not know if she is good with them. She would be best suited as the only dog in the home. She is spayed, up-to-date on all her vaccinations, and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Mac, please text the provided phone number or visit the link in the biography to fill out a pre-application. A member of our team will get in touch with you shortly. We can`t wait for you to meet Mac and welcome her into your family!Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up-to-date on heart-worm and flea/tick preventative, heartworm test which includes tick disease testing (if over 6 months), 24Petwatch microchip with registration, fecal analysis and health check before adoption, and spayed or neutered-if not already, a voucher is provided which will cover the cost.
