Recognizing his potential, Team Memphis Rescue brought him in from another rescue, giving him the second chance he deserved. 🩷 Personality Gumshoe is the perfect mix of playful and gentle. As a lab mix, he brings that classic friendly, affectionate nature — the kind of dog who just wants to be around his people. He has a big heart, an easygoing demeanor, and a way of making everyone he meets smile. Treats? Absolutely yes — accepted with enthusiasm and a happy wag every time. 🐕 Behavior & Skills ✔️ Walks beautifully on leash ✔️ Potty trained ✔️ Dog-friendly ✔️ Well-mannered and adaptable In the yard, Gumshoe loves to show off his zoomies — running, playing, and enjoying life to the fullest. He’s social, easy to handle, and fits in naturally wherever he goes. He’s also a bit of a tank — strong, solid, and sometimes a little clumsy. Because of his size and enthusiasm, he may do best in a home without small children, just to avoid accidental bumps during playtime. 🩺 Medical ✔️ Completed AHA (heartworm) treatment in December 2025 ✔️ Due for retest in June 2026 🏡 What He’s Looking For Gumshoe is ready for a forever home filled with connection, playtime, and plenty of affection. He’d do well in a variety of homes — whether as a solo companion or with other dogs — as long as he gets to be part of the family. ✨ The Bottom Line Gumshoe is a loyal, loving, fun dog!

River here! I know the first thing you notice is amazing…smile? Nope its my underbite! If you could win an award for one I imagine I would have a trophy! I’m a friendly guy who loves other dogs and people! I go to daycare and love playing with other pups while I’m there. My foster parents say one of the funniest things I do is toss my toys in the air and I get confused when they don’t land right next to me. I’m kind a a goofy guy. Speaking of playing I also dog fetch and love playing with my dog toys. I’m not just all about romping around though. I’m a great one to cuddle with and really enjoy Netflix nights on the couch I live with a feline friend and we get along great. I have also met children and I was very appropriate and sweet around them. I’m great in my crate and I have house training down! If you are looking for a fun guy who lives to meet new people, I’m your guy!
