Story
Meet Petunia. She is a 1 year old, female, Golden Retriever mixed breed (we think). She was found as a stray and she can't wait for a forever home. Petunia is what we lovingly call a "professional leaner". If you stop to say hello, she’ll press her entire body right up against you and she is perfectly content just being close. Personal space? Not really her thing and honestly, we’re completely okay with that. She appears to do well with other dogs and enjoys making new friends, both canine and human. Petunia thrives on connection and would love a home where she can be part of everyday life rather than watching it from the sidelines. Although Petunia has a wonderful personality, her time spent as a stray means she would feel most comfortable and secure in a home without children under 12. She weighs 56 lbs currently and could stand to put on a little weight. She is up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed. Chance was found as a stray. A kind lady took him in and contacted us for help. He's a really handsome little guy and we'll make a great family edition. The family that took him in had children, and he loved them very much.    ##2701520##

Story
Luna is an 8 year old, 35-pound mix of lab, golden, chow, Doberman, and more. We adopted her as a 4 month old rescue from Puerto Rico. She has been an affectionate family member for 8 years. We want a new loving home for her before our baby starts to crawl.Luna will let you sleep in, and she sleeps much of the day. Her behavior is better when she gets over an hour long walk per day. She loves cuddles, neck scratches, and will lean in and put her paws on your lap when she wants love. Luna is a Velcro dog and likes when her people are home.Luna is best suited for a family with no other pets or children. She requires a fenced yard, small or large. She is efficient about relieving herself in small areas of the yard, not on walks. She is good on a leash but does not like when other dogs bark at her. Luna needs an owner who is open to working with anxiety driven behaviors. We will miss our sweet girl dearly, but know that she will be more relaxed in home without a toddler.

Story
Scully’s mom was a Golden Retriever (we have pictures). Scully is not very pushy when it comes to getting attention but appreciates a laid back companion. He is happy and playful and loves toys with squeakers, stuffed animals and lots of snuggle time!! Scully gets along with other dogs and loves to play with those dogs he knows best. He is on the shy side, so a quiet home with plenty of outside adventures would be his preference. The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed.Scully's adoption fee (if picked up locally in Crossville, Tennessee) is $225.
