At just 10 months old, she’s already packed with personality and has a love for outdoor adventures. She absolutely adores spending time in the yard, and her favorite pastime? Picking up large rocks and carrying them around like precious treasures! Daisy is especially fond of the snow – she’ll put her nose right in it and sniff around. Daisy is already familiar with basic commands like "sit," "paw," and "leave it," but like most puppies, she’s still working on her manners. She can be a little mouthy and tends to jump up, so she’ll need an owner who is committed to consistent training and redirection. Daisy will do better with all adults and children over 14 because of her puppy ways. She's also working on staying calm and not jumping, but she's a quick learner and eager to please! Though she’s still getting to know her foster brothers, Daisy is very social and seems to enjoy the company of other dogs. Since she’s just been spayed, her interactions with other dogs have been limited, but she's slowly being introduced to her foster siblings. She’s still learning leash manners, so she tends to pull, but with consistent training, she will improve. Daisy has a high energy level and a working drive, making her an excellent candidate for agility or other active pursuits. Daisy would thrive in a home where she can get lots of exercise and mental stimulation. Whether it’s hiking, playing fetch, or engaging in agility training, she’s up for any activity that keeps her moving and learning. Meet Bailey...AKA Bae Bae ❤️ Bailey is a 2-3 year old Creme Golden Retriever. She came to us from a commercial breeder, after she was no longer needed. Bailey had a rough start to life and knew nothing except a small space and being a mom, that is until 2 months ago. She is now learning how to be a Dog and do real Dog things. Bailey has come a long way while in her foster home and is slowly learning how much she loves being pet and going for walks. Bailey will need a home with another dog for sure. She has loved having all her fur foster sisters and has been learning a lot from watching how they "dog". She will also need a home where someone is home more often than not. She has not been around kids, although her foster mom thinks she would love some human siblings. Children will need to be patient and understand that Bailey will need space and time to adjust to her new home. She would do best with a home that has a fence, however it is not necessary. Bailey enjoys her walks around the neighborhood and an active family to continue walks with her is a must. Most of all Bailey will need a family that will give her all the time that she needs to truly bloom into the dog, she was meant to be. Bailey has shown so much improvement already in the 2 months she has been in her foster home. She will need a family that is willing to continue to work with her on potty training. She is also not a fan of walking on hardwood floors. Her foster mom has used carpet runners around the house, until she gains more confidence. Bailey craves attention and will snuggle up super close on the couch to watch a movie whenever the time allows. She has been an absolute sweetheart and will be an amazing companion for the right family. She has been spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots and preventatives. Bailey is Lyme and Anaplasma positive, however she is showing no symptoms. Ajax is a gorgeous male Golden Retriever mix that has come from a high kill shelter that begged Critter Cavalry Rescue to take him in to our program. He is about 3-4 years of age and weighs 65 pounds and is the most loving and easy dog to have around. He is in transit to our rescue now and they have assured us that he will make some family the happiest people on the planet. He is the total package when you think of adopting a dog that you possibly cannot meet. We have full assurance that this “total package” boy is easy going, happy, great with people and other dogs and knows when to relax around his canine friends. He is not a high energy guy. He has preferred to lounge in the play yard at the former shelter and just take it easy, rather than do zoomies around the fence. Chill is probably an appropriate description. If you work from home this boy would not disturb any of your phone calls or work needs. Ajax would be that quiet guy that sits by your feet and just keeps you company. They say he is housebroken and could be in a crate if needed, but we think he probably would be the dog you can trust “home alone” for hours. Don’t miss out on this one. The Goldens and mixes go fast and Ajax deserves to not have to hang out long without being scooped up and loved. Loki is in a New England foster home. 1/18/25 Loki Babiessss! These little ones were born to a sweet little stray mama that was taken in by a good Samaritan. They are keeping mom. When the babies were only 2 weeks old, mom got a severe case of mastitis and could no longer nurse. The finder, being fully committed to the health and well being of the babies as well as mom, took all 8 pups to work with her every single day so they wouldn't miss any of their meals. She bottle fed all of them until they were old enough to eat on their own. They are now in a foster home. They are happy, healthy babies! Mom looks like a golden retriever mix (she is pictured last), and of course we have no idea what dad is. Mom on the smaller side, about 30 lbs. We estimate these babies will be in the 35-50lb range. They are all super adorable! We will make a seperate post for each of them. This baby is Loki, he is a male with a beautiful golden blonde coat. He is one of the larger puppies in this litter. Their date of birth is 10/25/24. They will be spayed/neutered at the end of this month and can go to their homes early Feb. Please help us find these babies loving, forever homes.
