Story
Meet our sweetest girl, Snickers! This petite golden doodle mix had a rough start to life- she lived tethered outside 24/7 with limited interaction from her family. She was matted when she came to us, hence her goofy hair cut. This girl doesn't let her past bring her down though. She is the sweetest girl and a dream in the house. She does well in a crate and is house trained. She is easy to walk on a leash. She prefers dogs her size and larger though tends to do better with male dogs since she can be bossy at times. She currently co exists with a senior and calm cat in her foster home, but she does show interest at times, so she would likely chase a playful or timid cat. She has done well around children. She can be mouthy at times, so may do best with older children.  Snickers has went to an adoption event at the local movie theater and was a rock star! She also went on an outing to Lowes and did great! She will make a great dog for her new family! Snickers is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. She is available for adoption at the Pet Pantry's main facility, 26 Millersville Road, Lancaster. If you are interested in meeting her, please fill out an adoption application! Applications are available at our location as well as online at petpantrylc.org. From there, our adoption coordinator will be in touch!April 9, 2026, 11:30 am

Story
Meet Lacey! Lacey is a gentle, 6‑year‑old, 50‑pound Goldendoodle with a soft, sensitive heart and a sweet spirit. She’s looking for a calm, loving forever home where she can continue to build confidence and feel safe. Lacey thrives with a fenced‑in yard to explore and would love a friendly resident dog to help guide her. She’s also great with cats and does well with older children who can respect her gentle nature. Because she feels most at ease when someone is around, a family where people are home often would be a perfect fit. She has a regular routine & is housebroken, but we always say that regression is common in new situations. She does well walking on a leash and does great when she is in her crate overnights and when her foster mom is at work. Lacey has a lot of love to give and just needs the right family who understands her calm, tender personality. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who will blossom with patience and kindness, Lacey might be your perfect match. 🐾 She is spayed, microchipped and up to date with all vaccines. She is a poodle-mix and will require regular grooming to maintain her curly coat. All adopters must be willing to travel to Strasburg for a meet and greet along with their dog(s). If Lacey sounds like the perfect addition to your family, please fill out an application today! Zoe’s House Rescue. Sinking Spring Pa 19608 Kennel license #9117

Story
Hello I am rehoming my golden retriever Gus i adopted him 4 months ago He was the perfect dog i mean he still is but sadly he’s not meant for city life he needs to be able to run free unleashed, our walks now are a battle no matter how long i take him out he anchors and doesn’t want to move, he is also reactive to dogs and cats and garbage trucks but he did learn leave and listens to keep moving I honestly feel he’s not happy he needs acres to run, I adopted him with another golden that the shelter claimed they are bonded but i believe they are not Jack my other golden has fit right in with city life he’s adapted quite well but Gus has not he even escaped his harness and ran thankfully he came back to me but that told me all i needed to know he needs to run free, also if you take him please send me updates and if he don’t go to far would love to set up play dates with his brother

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.3/29/26 Here we have Balki. He has so many great qualities about him and loves everyone but for whatever reason, nobody has adopted him. His foster mom did a DNA test on him and despite his looks, he is 30% Golden Retriever! 22% American Staffordshire Terrier, 18% Staffordshire Bull Terrier, 18% American Pit Bull Terrier, and 11% Mini Bull Terrier. Don't let the 'Bully breeds' in him stop you. He is a GREAT dog!! All about him: Balki is a super sweet and loving boy who is good with everyone-cats, dogs, and kids. He is fully house trained and crate trained. He has long legs and a slim build. He loves other dogs and does well with cats. Great with kids! He is about 8-9 months old. We believe he may have been dumped before he ended up in rescue because he is scared of cars. When walking on leash, if he is near a car or truck, he gets visibly scared and will try to pull away. Once he is inside the car he does fine. He just has some emotional scars that are still healing. But he's getting better all the time, thanks to a foster helping him feel safe. He will likely be a big boy once grown. We believe he will be around 60 lbs once grown. He is neutered, UTD on vaccines, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.   Balki is located in Arkansas. He can be adopted locally, but transport is available to the New England area as well. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NY, or CT on Saturdays.   To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion. Please visit our Facebook page too! https://www.facebook.com/adoptastrayrescueorg For more info regarding adopting, email apps.aasr@gmail.com Thank you for considering one of our rescue babies!April 7, 2026, 10:25 pm

Alice (Female) Avail 4/11's Story Description of the Pet **Applicant Requirements:** -Be at least 21 years of age and the Homeowner or Rentee. -Households with children under 8 years of age, must have a physical fence attached to the home or an electric/invisible fence. However, there are other instances when a fence may be required for the safety of the dog or puppy Name: Alice Age: DOB: 10/18/25 Weight: Crate-trained: Yes PLEASE NOTE: To apply to adopt, the application and adoption process can be found on our website greenmorerescue.org. Please read dog's bio carefully before applying. Alice is a beautiful golden retriever with a gentle soul and a story of resilience. She was found as a stray with a jug stuck on her head, but despite her rough start, she’s already blossoming into a loving and trusting companion. She’s been working hard and now walks much better on a leash, showing just how eager she is to learn and connect. Alice has a soft, affectionate side—she gives the best bear hugs and loves being close to her people. This sweet girl enjoys the simple things in life: chasing tennis balls, stretching her legs in the yard, and soaking up love. Because she loves to run and explore, a fenced yard is required for her forever home. Alice has a medium energy level—she’s happy to play but also appreciates downtime to relax and recharge. Right now, because of her timidness, she would do best in a home with older kids—but this may change as she continues to blossom here at Greenmore. Alice is looking for a kind, understanding home where she can keep shining and finally enjoy the happy life she deserves. Adoption donation is $425 cash, $450 credit, debit or Venmo. This donation includes a microchip. There is a refundable $75.00 neuter/spay deposit. ***A NOTE ON BREEDS: The dog's listed breed(s) is the best assessment made by a veterinarian, pet finder or rescue staff and is not guaranteed. This pet is being offered by Greenmore Farm Animal Rescue, 246 Clonmell Upland Road, West Grove PA 19390 - PA Shelter # 8755
