Found her on the street as a puppy overheated and full of worms. Took her to the vet, got her treated, and took her home. I’m unsure of her breed but we suspect one of the parents was a retriever that roamed the area. She is beautiful and loves to cuddle with anyone. She is an energetic dog and about 2 years old.

Lily…a pretty name for a stunning dog! Lily is the quintessential Golden Retriever we know and love. She loves everyone and everything. She is just 2 years old - so very young but out of the puppy phase! She is a medium size dog - fully grown at 55 lbs. She is very sweet and obedient. She will do ANYTHING for a toy and some attention and love!! She is obedient and doing well with her housebreaking. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

Meet Porter! He is a 2.5 year old, 75 lb tripod doggo! He is likely a Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix. Porter came to our rescue as a puppy and needed a leg amputation after sustaining a bad broken leg. He recovered beautifully and was quickly adopted. He spent the last two years with his adoptive family until he was recently returned. His adoptive family reported that he had started nipping at people so we have had him working with a trainer to better understand what is going on and what Porter may need. After spending quite a lot of time with him, we're not sure what may have been driving that behavior in the home as he hasn't shown any instances of nips/bites with people since he has been with us. Porter likes to have his space and he's good about telling you he would like space. He doesn't like to be startled (but then who does?) so he may be best in a home without small children. Porter is house trained and kennel trained but he does great out and about by himself when his people are away. He knows some of his basic commands and does well on a leash. Porter is a sweet boy and likes to be near his people, whether that is near you when on the couch or on the floor by your bed. He just likes to keep you company. He gets along well with other dogs and likes to play! We're unsure how he may be with cats. He gets around great on three legs and handles a handful of stairs just fine! A whole flight of stairs may be difficult on him as he ages, but a few steps treats him just fine. He doesn't have any special needs and doesn't take any medications. This beautiful boy has so much to offer and will make an incredible companion! Finnegan was found as a stray about a month ago. He was very sick, and he spent about a week at the doggie hospital until he was cleared to come home. However, he is all healed and ready to go! He is VERY loving to people, and wants to be around his people all of the time. However, he also settles during the work day and waits patiently for the humans to return home from work. He is 65lbs, and estimated to be 2 to 3 years old although he acts pretty young.
