Story
We bought in a pet shop Petito in OKC . He is an original Golden Retriever. 1 year old. The reason is because I don’t have time for him . He needs to play and walking every day 2 times a day minimum. he’s too big for my daughters. He needs training. Sometimes he get stresses and bites. But he is sweet. I have all certificates.

Story
Bandit was adopted from us as a puppy, after being found in the TRASH before he was old enough to even eat kibble. Someone literally threw him and his littermates away in the trash while they should have still been nursing. Our rescue put everything into that litter and they all found amazing homes. Except Bandit. Bandit's first adopter gave him away (unbeknownst to us), that person "lost" him...and then both refused to pick him up from the shelter where he stayed for TEN DAYS until we could  get him back from the shelter in Illinois.  Now that Bandit is safely back in our care, he is loving life in his foster home! We love all the updates on this goofy, playful boy and can't wait to see how his journey to forever unfolds! Bandit is ready for another shot with a true forever family. If you're interested in meeting him, please apply!  ##1953485##

Story
Meet Porter! He is a 2.5 year old, 75 lb tripod doggo! He is likely a Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix. Porter came to our rescue as a puppy and needed a leg amputation after sustaining a bad broken leg. He recovered beautifully and was quickly adopted. He spent the last two years with his adoptive family until he was recently returned. His adoptive family reported that he had started nipping at people so we have had him working with a trainer to better understand what is going on and what Porter may need. After spending quite a lot of time with him, we're not sure what may have been driving that behavior in the home as he hasn't shown any instances of nips/bites with people since he has been with us. Porter likes to have his space and he's good about telling you he would like space. He doesn't like to be startled (but then who does?) so he may be best in a home without small children. Porter is house trained and kennel trained but he does great out and about by himself when his people are away. He knows some of his basic commands and does well on a leash. Porter is a sweet boy and likes to be near his people, whether that is near you when on the couch or on the floor by your bed. He just likes to keep you company. He gets along well with other dogs and likes to play! We're unsure how he may be with cats. He gets around great on three legs and handles a handful of stairs just fine! A whole flight of stairs may be difficult on him as he ages, but a few steps treats him just fine. He doesn't have any special needs and doesn't take any medications. This beautiful boy has so much to offer and will make an incredible companion! You can send inquiries to our adoption team at muttmisfitsadoptions@gmail.com or apply to meet / adopt at www.muttmisfits.org/adoption-application Porter is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and preventatives, heartworm negative, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $150.
