KODA KAY is a stunning mini goldendoodle pup looking for a home. Koda is a 38 pound 8 month old puppy. She is a live wire, full of fun and brimming with exuberant puppy energy. Koda Kay is an absolute love who needs an ACTIVE home where she will get plenty of attention and lots of exercise. She needs a home with another playful dog who can match her in size and energy plus a physically-fenced yard suitable for running and romping. Koda Kay is a bouncy silly girl who needs an adopter who will provide strong leadership and will invest the time and energy needed to train her to become a well-behaved adult. Like all puppies Koda Kay needs to learn boundaries. Koda Kay is housebroken and crate trained. Her lovely coat will require regular grooming to keep her looking and feeling fabulous. Her adopter should be prepared for that expense every 6-8 weeks. If you would like to meet Koda Kay, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Say hello to 6 month old Arlona “AKA” Luna the doodle She is full of love and energy. Loves snuggles, kisses, and walks! She’s been around other dogs and kids and does amazing. Working on basic commands; sit, down, leash work. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. Belle is a great golden girl! She looks very golden retriever but is short and only around 40lbs. She loves people and especially loves kids- sometimes a little too much because she will always want to be with you or touching you. Prepare to never sleep alone again! Belle is good with other dogs once she adjusts to them- at first she can grumble if she feels they are stealing her attention. She is great with cats! She is housebroken is taken out frequently and rarely barks. She is not destructive (aside from wanting food on the counter) and doesn’t need crated. Blondie is a senior gal rescued from a neglectful owner, she is 13 and as would be expected has some arthritis issues. She was with 60% hair loss and inflamed skin due to fleas, emaciated, and noted to have cracked, worn down, broken teeth in the very front upper and lower, wounds to the pads on her front paws that our vet states indicates trying to dig in or out of something. She is slowly gaining weight on a prescription diet and her fur is starting to grow back. She would be special needs in that she is a very senior gal.

Jet is a sweet cuddly and super smart boy. His mother was a Golden Retriever and his father was a German Shepherd. He's graduated from puppy classes and continues to shine in training classes. He's mastered tons of tricks. Jet is fully house trained, sleeps in his crate, and stays for a few hours when we are away. Jet needs a new home due to difficulty managing his resource guarding tendencies around kids. That is why he's best suited to an adult home. He is extremely food motivated. Jet is loving and playful. He adores snuggling, fetch and tug. However, he is shy and highly alert on walks and barks at strangers, preferring to stay close to home. While we've started counterconditioning, he needs ongoing support. He is very loyal and will be a devoted companion to the right person!
