You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.William Richard Johnson, affectionately known as Willy, came to us in May from a puppy mill after the Amish discovered he had a deformity in the skin covering his penis, and therefore could not be sold. We couldn't let this little floof nugget lose his life over something completely fixable, so we took him in and got him the medical care he needed! Willy is your typical, spunky puppy! He's full of playful energy, but very on board with going into his crate to take a nap. He loves all people, other dogs, (although he's still working on his manners and is a little 'in your face' with new friends!), and very much wants to be BFFs with the kitties! Even if the kitties aren't interested, lol. He loves rope toys, sticks, tennis balls, laying out in the sun, and helping pull weeds out of the lawn. Sometimes the grass comes too, but hey, he's still 'helping!' He enjoys playing tug and fetch with his people, but is also good at independently entertaining himself. We've also discovered that Willy enjoys watching doggie TV and will sometimes intently stare at the other pups on the screen! Willy loves to be near his people and will snuggle, lay at your feet, or sprawl out on top of the couch by your head. He also occasionally wants to hold hands. Did we mention what a goofball this guy is?!?Willy is crate trained and will quietly sleep in a covered crate at night. He'll greet you in the morning with love, a good stretch, and a big yawn. He's almost fully potty trained, and has learned to ring a bell or sit by the door to let his people know (most of the time) that he needs to go out. This smarty pants has also mastered SIT and PAW! He loves to learn and interact with other people and animals, so he would absolutely thrive in puppy classes with his new fam! This sweet floof is a Miniature Poodle/Golden Retriever mix, (a Mini Goldendoodle if you prefer), and we guesstimate that he'll be around 35 lbs or so when fully grown. He will require regular grooming throughout his life, so his forever family needs to be prepared to take him every 6-8 weeks or so. Willy is currently 15 lbs, has had his first grooming sesh (which he did amazing for!), and is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and current on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
