Earning her trust takes time—she will need at least a couple of visits before she feels comfortable—but the reward is immeasurable. Once Pebbles lets you into her world, you’ll become her certified best friend for life! She’s an extremely loving little lady, and despite her old age, she still has quite the energy—especially when it involves treats, a walk, or a romp around the yard with her chosen people. Pebbles would thrive in a home with a single adult and no children. She needs a patient owner who understands her protective nature and is committed to helping her feel safe and secure. We’d love to see her live out her golden years with someone who can see the same potential our staff sees in her every day. She and her siblings were abandoned on a busy beach filled with feral dogs, where they survived by hiding under rocks for nearly two weeks before finally being rescued.  Despite everything she’s been through, Muffin is unbelievably loving, gentle, and affectionate. She absolutely melts for belly scratches, cuddles close whenever she can, and seems so grateful to finally feel safe and cared for. She has the sweetest soul and is quickly learning what it means to be loved.  Muffin is looking for a family ready to give her the happy, secure life she has always deserved. Emoji - The Little Gentleman's Story Meet Emoji, a 2.5-month-old, 7-lb sweetheart with the softest little soul.  Emoji and his siblings were abandoned on a busy beach in Puerto Rico filled with feral dogs, where they survived by hiding under rocks for nearly two weeks before finally being rescued. It’s hard to imagine such tiny babies trying to stay safe all alone.  Because of everything he’s been through, Emoji can be a little shy at first — but once he feels safe, all he wants is his people. He is incredibly cuddly, gentle, and affectionate, happiest curled up close beside you soaking up love and reassurance. He has a quiet sweetness about him that completely melts your heart. The shy ones are the best ones in our opinion!  Emoji is finally learning what safety and kindness feel like, and now he’s looking for a forever family who will give him the secure, loving life he has always deserved.

But somehow, she held on. 💛 Rescued just in time, she’s now safe in a loving foster home—and her true personality is shining through. She’s incredibly friendly, full of playful energy, and always ready to share affection. She’ll happily follow you around, eager for attention, or curl up beside you like she’s always belonged there. Despite everything she’s been through, her heart is wide open. She trusts. She loves. She hopes. She’s healthy, smart, and learning quickly—just waiting for someone to give her the forever home she deserves. A place where she’ll never feel abandoned again. Meet McCoy – the sweetest little sidekick you didn’t know you were missing. At just 4.5 months old and 24 pounds, McCoy is a delightful mix of silly, snuggly, and smart. He may be a tiny bit shy at first, but give him a little patience and you’ll quickly discover his playful personality and affectionate heart. McCoy comes from a pretty interesting family tree! His mom is a Heeler/Beagle mix and his dad is a cream-colored Goldendoodle, which resulted in one very unique and adorable pup. He has the coloring of his siblings but favors his Beagle-mix mama in looks — with short little legs, a loooong Basset-style body, and a thick, medium-length coat that’s perfect for cuddling. Though he was born outside and spent his early weeks living outdoors with his parents and littermates, McCoy is now thriving inside a loving foster home. He’s learning all about family life — from the excitement of greeting you at the door (he gives the best welcome-home kisses!) to living with young boys ages 6 and 10. Every day he grows braver and more confident. At first, the big dogs in his foster home made him a little nervous — but now? He’s happily part of the crew. He absolutely loves to run and play outside, and fetch with tennis balls is quickly becoming one of his favorite games. And yes… he is SMART. You can just see those wheels turning. One of the most special things about McCoy is how deeply he bonds with his people. When his foster mom recently had a terrible migraine, McCoy instinctively curled up beside her and stayed close, offering quiet comfort. He’s not just cute — he truly cares. His activity level is beautifully balanced. He enjoys playtime and adventures, but he’s just as happy snuggled up right next to you. With a loving, supportive family, McCoy is going to absolutely bloom into the best kind of companion — loyal, joyful, and full of heart. He is expected to grow to around 45–50 pounds when fully grown. If you’re looking for a special boy who is adorable inside and out, McCoy may be your perfect match.
