She loves long walks on her leash, zooming, playing with balls & stuffies, tug-of-war and of course, cuddling. She has a genetic condition that requires a bit of extra time & special steps at meals. She has a custom chair that allows her to eat in an upright position. Truffles eagerly gets into her chair as she is quite food motivated. She is intelligent, active, affectionate, and eager to please. She is ideal for an active family or individual. Submit application to meet dog if interested - yes an application is required******** Meet Martha! Martha is a Golden who is a bundle of pure joy (and that good 'ol golden energy)! Martha weighs about 57 pounds currently, and is estimated to be about a year-and-a-half old. She loves to cuddle, play fetch, and chew on bones. Since she's still young, she can be a bit mouthy when she plays, but her foster mom is working with her on that! Due to this, we'd recommend a house without small children. Martha loves walks, and gets very excited on them, so she will need some patience with a family who is willing to do more leash training with her- she's a very fast learner! Martha is looking for a family who will love her as much as she'll love them back (and trust us- that's a LOT of love)! She's crate trained, housebroken, and ready for her forever home! We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs. All our dogs have been treated with de-wormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 months or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption. We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts. We can transport to your location or one of our many north eastern location.We have a transporter that delivers every other week. This pup was born 4-1-23. This pup is golden retriever and aussie shep. This pup has been socialized since birth. This pup loves people, other dogs, cats and even kids. This pup has been started on crate training and potty training. This pup will go home current in vaccinations, deworming, preventives including being started on heartworm prevention and microchipped. The adopter will get all the health records with adoption. The puppy will receive a complete physical at our vet prior to transport. They will also receive a certificate of health.
