Story
Max was acquired from a a breeder in California as a puppy five years ago. His owners were two elderly people in their eighties who have had to move to an assisted living facility. As a 95 pound alpha dog, Max ruled the house. His has no manners or boundaries. He also does things like steal tissue out of a person’s pocket or eat sock lying around. Max has a lot of energy, so he needs a place to run and active owners. We believe with proper exercise, a lot of behavioral problems will disappear. He does know basic commands and loves learning. At the end of the day, Max is also a lover. He loves snuggling and being a lap dog. He has lots of love and kisses to give. The ideal home: Two very active people who are patient and willing to work with him. -No young kids -Must be willing to train and have a LOT patience -yard - no apartments -No small dogs -Other dogs questionable We want to make sure that Max lands in a loving safe place.

Story
Cocoa Bear is an affectionate boy that seems to like most people, but is a little more hesitant with men. He is housetrained and crate trained. He enjoys going on car rides and going in water. We are told he does fine with some dogs and older kids. We unfortunately did discover that he has early stages of hip dysplasia. This does not yet cause him any pain or issues at the moment. He also has a partial torn ACL in his leg. He is on limited activity right now and we are hoping with enough rest that the ACL injury will heal.
