Meet Truffles! Truffles is an adorable & exuberant 7 month old puppy with huge stick up bat signal ears. When not receiving transmissions, her giant receivers crisscross atop her head. She loves long walks on her leash, zooming, playing with balls & stuffies, tug-of-war and of course, cuddling. She has a genetic condition that requires a bit of extra time & special steps at meals. She has a custom chair that allows her to eat in an upright position. Truffles eagerly gets into her chair as she is quite food motivated. She is intelligent, active, affectionate, and eager to please. She is ideal for an active family or individual. We got Duke from a lovely couple in the country side as a family dog. He was born in April of 2021, and will be 4 years old this year. Due to our busy schedule, we felt that we are slowly unable to meet the needs of Duke and that he deserve so much more, which makes us feel that the best solution was for Duke to go into a home where he can have the time to be outside and connect with people. Duke is very calm, friendly, and playful. He loves your attention and loves playing with toys. He was overweight being home for the most part, which has affected his right eye. But with working through many veterinarians, he has now slowly lost weight and that it was due to his lack of exercise/overweight that may have caused the discoloration in his eye. He loves to go on walks, but with the few interactions he has had with other dogs, he is afraid of them if they bark at him. Otherwise, he usually minds his business and is very playful once he gets to know others.

Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    Hi I'm  Candycorn !  I'm a beautiful lady who came into rescue with some secret cargo in my tummy.  I was a good mama and raised my babies and sent them all on to new homes.  Now it's my turn!  With new people and in new places I'll admit I get nervous and I either find a safe corner to hide in or I'll possibly bark.  At home with my foster mama where I'm familiar with things I'm a completely different dog.  I have the bestest happy smile, my tail doesn't stop wagging and I get the cutest dance and zoomies.  I gently jump against my fosters mamas leg so she can give me hugs and kisses.  Sometimes I kiss back!  When she stops I gently put my paw on her arm so she knows I want more.  I also love when she gives me chin and cheek scratches and I should probably mention tummy rubs are great too.     I get along great with all dogs and like to chase and wrestle when they're my friends.  I would do best having a doggie sibling in my new home so they can help me learn the routine in my new home and help me be more confident.     At home I am learning to walk on leash.  It's going great since I trust my foster mom.  It's fun jumping around in the grass and feeling the sun shine down on my face and the wind in my fur.  I haven't pottied on leash yet for her, but I do know that I should do all my business a fenced area so I do request one in my home.   I am kennel trained and I never potty in it.  I'm too smart for that!  I'm usually quiet in it too.  I know it's a safe spot when I need it too, though I prefer to be out hanging around my mom's feet instead.  When she's working I'm usually laying under her desk close to her in case she needs me.  You get treats there and pets haha!   I really like toys!  The soft ones are my favorite to chew on. I never had toys before rescue. I don't always like to share them, but I've learned mom will trade me for them and she'll gently play tug of war with me.     I haven't met any kids yet, but I think I'd be ok with older respectful kids who would be kind and gentle with me.  Fast movement and loud noises are overwhelming and I don't want to get scared and have to run and hide.  A quiet home where I can be a spoiled princess would be awesome.     Come and meet me and I promise you'll find that with a little time to learn that I'm safe and can trust you with my heart that you'll find a loving and loyal family member in me that will love you unconditionally! Welcome to Hank from CCPAL foster program. He is a 3.5 to 4 year old Golden Retreiver/Shepherd dog. He is very smart and affectionate. He has upright ears. He does not jump up, good on a leash, good in a car, knows sit command, potty trained and good with other dogs and kids. He would be a great pet for a family. He lives in a house with other dogs and does great. He also lives with cats. He is currently in foster care until we find his forever home. He weighs about 36 pounds and is a medium sized dog. He could easily go in a home with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is super friendly to all people including strangers. He could be adopted locally in Texas, which is where he is right now or we could work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Welcome Shaggy to CCPAL Rescue. Shaggy is a Golden Retriever/Dachshund or Corgi mixed dog. This is our best guess. He weighs about 15 pounds and has the look of a miniature Golden Retriever. His coat looks very much like and feels like a Golden. He is the most outgoing and social of the 3 that came from the home of the bad human. He initial human sexually abused these dogs. We are working on getting them on a good routine and schedules with lots of wonderful attention and assurance that humans are mostly good people. As you can see from the video, this dog is extremely loving and trusting. He has an incredibly soft coat. A good samaratin got them out of the previous place and sought out CCPAL for help. These dogs are not fully potty trained. He is decent on a leash and we are working on crate training and potty pad work. He is good with other dogs and will be neutered soon and looking for his forever home. He would be fine in a home with children due to his sweet nature. We like children to be 8 or older. He would make a nice walking companion for a retired person. He would also be fine in a setting like Starbucks. He is very friendly with all people, including strangers. He has already started his vaccinations and will be ready for his loving forever home soon. This dog will get lots of applications due to his breed, nature and looks.
