Story
Hi there! My name is Kona, and I’m a handsome Goldendoodle with a big personality and an even bigger love for life! I’m a big boy with lots of zest for life, and I’m always ready for whatever the day brings. I’m both house trained and crate trained, and I love having toys to play with. One of my very favorite things in the whole world is going for walks. I love getting outside, exploring the neighborhood, and taking in the big, beautiful world around me. I especially enjoy tagging along with my foster mom on adventures—bonus points if we get to check out a new coffee shop along the way! Sometimes, though, I get a little extra excited on walks—especially when I spot squirrels or other small critters. I can also be a bit vocal when I’m excited, but really, I just have a lot to say and I’m eager to say hello! My future family will need to help me continue working on managing all that enthusiasm. Because I’m a larger guy with a lot of excitement, I’d probably do best in a home with older kids who can handle my happy energy. After I’ve gotten my exercise in, I’m more than happy to settle down for a nice long nap. I actually do really well in my crate and prefer to sleep there—it’s my cozy little safe space. Now, let’s talk about one of my greatest loves: food. I am very food motivated and, if it were up to me, snack time would be all day long. Because of that, I’ve been known to do a little counter surfing and investigate trash bins if something smells delicious, so I shouldn’t be left unattended in the kitchen. What can I say? A guy’s gotta check for snacks! Those snack-loving habits have caught up to me a bit, and I’m currently working on losing a few pounds before summer. A healthy routine with proper exercise and portion control will help me feel my very best. I also have some allergies, so I’ll need a family who can help me stay on top of that. Chicken and turkey are off the menu for me, and I also get allergy shots to help keep me comfortable. As long as my allergies are properly managed, I’ll be one very happy boy. My foster mom says I’m going to make the sweetest, most lovable companion for one very lucky family—and I can’t wait to meet them! Love, Kona

Story
Hi! I’m Dunne, aka Dune-buggy or Duners. Just thought I would stop in with a little update on me. If you’ve read my profile before you may know that I’m originally from Afghanistan and spent my first few years there. Because of my time there, we don’t know much about my previous life except that I was a street dog and didn’t live in a house. Now for the good update part. I’m really liking and getting the hang of this house living thing. The people and other dog I live with have been teaching me a lot of stuff and because of that I feel safer and more comfortable and confident so I do not need to always follow my temporary mom around everywhere she goes in the house. She keeps telling me that I am almost there to being a perfect gentleman. I now sit and wait for my food until I am told I can have it. Same with treats, I don’t try to grab it out of their hand. I do at times have a little too much energy and get a little too excited so I jump around or run up and down the stairs. So little kids or adults that aren’t steady on their feet might not be a good thing. I’m working on it, but sometimes I’m just too excited!!! I have learned to walk nicely on a leash. I stick pretty close to either person walking with me and do well when the other dog here is walking with too, but prefer to be with my foster mom if it’s a group walk. I get scared though of other dogs out or on leashes and tend to get a little reactive. We are working on it, but it’s hard to get over that fear. The people here have learned that I am not a fan of my kennel. I won’t fight it when they leave since the other dog here is already in his, but I get very scared to be in there. At night I don’t have to go in there at all now. This makes me so happy and grateful that I curl up and don’t move all night until it’s time to get up in the morning. Sudden movements too close to me or someone reaching out makes me nervous and cower. I am a lot better than I used to be, but it’s still a work in progress. I’m hoping to find a home that can continue to be more relaxed and patient with me as I continue on this learning journey. I like to lay around and relax most of the time and content with watching the world go by in the yard or deck as mom is tending to her gardens. I am a fast runner and need to get that energy out sometimes, so a fenced yard where I can run or someone that will take me on adventures to get that energy out would be ideal. I love to curl up on the couch with either foster parent and just be with them. Are you ready to be my cuddle partner?       Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
Lena is a Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix with the cutest floppy ears and a heart as big as her paws (and trust us, those paws are making promises). She’s well on her way to becoming a loyal, fluffy guardian who will follow you from room to room… and then dramatically flop down right on your feet.   She’s currently: Working on crate training (with strong opinions, but improving daily. But she does sleep all night in it!). Learning potty training (celebrating the wins!) Loves going on walks and is picking up basic commands like the smart girl she is. She's living with a large resident dog and two elementary aged humans and is well-socialized with both.   Lena lives for fresh air, sniffing absolutely everything, and keeping a very close eye on her people at all times (personal space is optional in her world). If you’re looking for a sweet, goofy, loyal pup who will grow into a big, beautiful companion and never let you go to the bathroom alone again… Lena might just be your girl. Lena would love a family who is home often and that has a fence so she can roam, rather than needing to be on a leash when she wants to be outside all the time. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
Meet Dallas, your golden ray of sunshine! ☀️ This handsome golden mix is an 11-week-old bundle of energy who wakes up ready to turn every day into an adventure. He loves tearing around the yard with joyful zoomies, chasing toys like it’s his full-time job, and showing off his wiggly, happy personality that keeps everyone laughing. After he’s burned off that puppy energy, though, his soft side shines—Dallas happily curls up for snuggles and belly rubs, soaking up all the love he can get. He’s doing wonderfully with potty training on a schedule and even uses the same outdoor spot each time. He hasn’t had a single accident in his crate and, while he may whine briefly, he settles down well and stays quiet until he needs a potty break. Dallas is learning to walk on a leash and is doing great for his age, and he doesn’t mind car rides either. As a typical puppy, he can be a bit jumpy, so small children may need gentle supervision, but he’s eager to learn and very trainable. He does fabulous with other dogs and has been around many cats—he’s curious and wants to play, even if he’s a little unsure of them right now. With his high energy level, love for stuffed toys, chewies, and balls, and his sweet post-play nap sessions, Dallas would thrive with a family who can keep up with his playful spirit, continue his training, and save him a cozy couch spot for cuddle time. He has a big heart, a golden glow, and so much love to give—now he’s just waiting for his forever home. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Age: Approximately 3 years old Weight: 72lbs Dog friendly: Yes, with proper introduction Cat friendly: Unknown Kid friendly: When properly introduced Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Unknown ***FENCED YARD REQUIRED*** Hello! My name is Lewis but I am often called Lou If you are looking for a friend to watch whatever shows you want on tv I am your guy! If you are looking for someone that loves to chill on the couch with then I am your guy! If you are looking for someone to take walks with or even go for a jog with them I am also your guy as I love to go on walks! I love my humans and get attached to them, so it would be best if I was your one and only fur baby! I do like kids but have never been around real little kids so you may have to watch that I don’t knock them over as I would feel bad. I would love to be with someone who isn’t gone all the time as I will miss them so much. I roam free when my humans are gone and do fine with that, although I do have a habit of counter surfing so its best if you do not leave any food on the counter for me to snack on. I am told that I am the sweetest boy and would love to find my forever home so you can see that too. Lou Adoption Fee: $495
