Story
Daisy is incredibly sweet, playful, and the ultimate cuddle bug! This gentle, affectionate girl loves being close to her people and will happily curl up beside you to soak up all the love and snuggles she can get. She’s a loyal companion who just wants to feel safe and cherished. Originally from Mexico, Daisy is still adjusting to life in Minnesota and learning that new experiences aren’t so scary. Things like big open spaces and especially walking on a leash can make her nervous—but she’s already made great progress and become much more confident in her foster home! Leash training is her biggest challenge and will require patience, so Daisy needs a home with a fenced yard so she can go potty and exercise without a leash. With that setup, she is fully potty trained. Daisy also has a very playful side! She loves zooming around the backyard and thrives with another dog to run and play with. Since walks can be stressful to her and she’s not very interested in toys, a doggy companion is a great way for her to get exercise and build confidence. She does well with other dogs and would truly benefit from a canine friend to show her the ropes. She hasn’t lived with cats but would likely do just fine. Daisy would also do well with respectful kids in a calm, low-key home. At night, Daisy sleeps soundly in her crate, though she’d happily snuggle in bed if allowed. She can also be trusted to free roam when home alone. Daisy is full of love and ready to be someone’s devoted, snuggly best friend!
