We adopted her at around 1 year old, she’s fully house-trained and well-mannered.She’s a beautiful dog who gets compliments everywhere she goes, but more importantly, she’s calm, low-energy, and very easy to care for. Kaya enjoys relaxing at home and does best in a quiet environment, as loud noises can make her uneasy.She is wonderful with our daughter—very gentle, patient, and affectionate. She has also stayed in a home with a cat and did well.m while we were on vacation. Kaya has so much love to give and thrives on companionship.We are heartbroken to rehome her due to our daughter’s allergies and limited time. We’re looking for a loving home where she will be cherished and cared for.Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns!

Every question must be answered, and it must be signed.-Applicants must be 21+ years old and live within a 100-mile radius of our shelter at 22415 Groesbeck Hwy, Warren 48089.-You must identify at least 1 animal that you are interested in.-Once your application is received, it will be assigned to one of our volunteer Adoption Counselors who will follow-up with the applicant who is the best fit within a few days, or to discuss other options. It could take up to a couple of weeks for you to receive a final disposition on your application so there is no need to check on the status.-Introductions will be scheduled by appointment only, 30 minutes per appointment. The entire household, including current dogs, must be present for the appointment. (Note: Please do not bring your dogs if you are meeting cats!). The introductions will take place outside in our parking lot (or in our cat room if you're meeting cats).-We will perform vet checks for current and prior pets in the household.-Finalizing the adoption will also be scheduled by appointment.Thank you for your understanding.
