Chanel was purchased from a breeder as a young puppy. Unfortunately, due to her owner's divorce, they decided that they could no longer provide the loving home she deserves. Chanel is a sweet girl with a friendly disposition. She is social and enjoys the company of other dogs. Recently, she has also met a cat and did well, showing her adaptable nature. She is good with dog-savvy children, making her a great addition to an active family.
Being still a puppy, Chanel is in the exploratory phase of her life, learning about the world around her primarily through her mouth. This means she is prone to chewing, so potential adopters should be prepared for typical puppy behaviors. Chanel is seeking a family that will commit to her ongoing training. She will need help with house manners and crate training to ensure she matures into a well-behaved adult. She should not be tethered or left on a tie-out, as she thrives on interaction and engagement with her human companions. She is also not leash trained so a physical fenced yard is essential to encourage house manners while learning to walk on a leash can be done positively.
Chanel is looking for an active family that can keep up with her energy levels and provide her with plenty of opportunities for play and exercise. As a Golden Doodle, Chanel will require regular grooming to maintain her coat and prevent matting, a responsibility that her new family must be prepared for.
Chanel is looking for a loving, patient, and active household where she can continue her socialization and training, along with a commitment to helping her grow into a wonderful companion. Chanel will go home in foster-to-adopt status with their new families until her spay surgery has been completed at 6 months of age at one of our partner Veterinary offices (Chesterfield, Clinton Twp, Sterling Heights, Clawson, or Rochester), which is included in the adoption fee and is non-negotiable.
