Story
Saphire (suh-fear) is the most loving and patient dog. Seriously, her human kids have played with her and pretended she was a horse many times and she loved every second of the attention she got. She has no problems having a lazy day but absolutely loves playing fetch and chasing squirrels. She has currently caught two squirrels so far. Yes, she is very proud of herself for that. She is obedient and understands several commands. Unfortunately, she does get seizures every once in a while. Taking her to an ER is not needed for the seizure. She comes out of them fairly easily. She has been seen by a neurologist for them and has since concluded that there is nothing that can be done for them besides putting her on seizure medications. The medication is a twice a day pill and very affordable. ($25/mo) We love her so much and it pains us to have to rehome her, however, we cannot take her overseas with us. She will thrive better with a family or home with a large yard for running.

He needs stimulation and would do great in a home with another dog to play with, but could also live as an only dog. he loves to play fetch and run around the yard. He has lived with a cat with no issues. He has lived with children also but he may be too jumpy/active for tiny ones. He is house trained and uses a crate when left alone. If not crated when alone he can get himself into trouble. It takes him a bit to settle in but does sleep through the night in the crate. He walks on leash but needs some training so as not to pull so much. He is young and eager to learn and loves to be around people. KNOWN COMMANDS: Touch, sit, down, spin, place KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: Grace is housebroken to our knowledge. KNOWN LIKES: Affection, dogs, treats, training, toys KNOWN DISLIKES: Grace did have a hard time at the vet and may have some handling sensitivities - we recommend working on muzzle training for future vet visits, people touching her food or toys when she is engaging with it, but will always trade! ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Meet Grace, the spirited pup with a heart full of love and a zest for life that's sure to bring joy to any home. With an estimated weight of 45 lbs, Grace may be compact in size, but she's bursting with energy and affection. Grace's list of likes is simple yet heartwarming - she thrives on the love and affection of her human companions, along with tasty treats to reward her good behavior. However, she does have a dislike for loud noises, so a calm and peaceful environment would suit her best. Despite her past challenges, including sensitivity at the vet and making a mess at home, Grace is ready to turn over a new leaf and find a loving forever family who can provide her with plenty of exercise, enrichment, and, most importantly, unconditional love.
