Story
Meet Yogi! He is a 2-year-old Retriever mix who is looking for a loving family to adopt him. This handsome boy is every bit friendly and loves getting attention. If you stop giving pets, he`ll carefully paw at you requesting more. Overall, Yogi walks well on a leash and will make the best buddy for hikes. He has good manners and isn`t overly jumpy. We have yet to introduce him to other dogs, but the shelter we transferred Yogi from noted he did well with them. This good boy is going to make the best addition to a home, does Yogi sound like a fit for you?

Story
HONEY is a F1B Goldendoodle that was rescued from a puppy mill. She is a sanctuary dog that is available under our Foster to Adopt program. She is 6 years old. She had an injured leg which required ACL surgery which we had done in 2019. She was terrified of people when she first came.. She was rescued in 2019 when she was one year old. Honey has come around. Her fear is getting better with people. Once she bonds with someone she is the sweetest most loveable dog to them. Like others in our sanctuary she will never be a social butterfly. Honey gets groomed every 2 months and rides in the car well, She will walk on a leash to the groomers building. This has become a routine. She needs routines. If she is famillair with a place she will do well. She will probably never walk on a leash for daily walks, she will be too afraid. She just needs her back yard and her home. If you ever go on vacation she will need a dog sitter in your home. She will never do well taking a trip or going to boarding. Honey has become a bit protective of her people. If you have company she will stay away, however there have been incidents when a stranger turns their back she will try to nip at their butt or ankles then run away when they turn around. We feel she protecting us. We would not call this aggression it has never led to more than a nip and then she runs the other way. She does not do it with all people. The key would be for her to get to know your guests with treats. She would do best in a home with no children because of the possible nipping . She is good with dogs, however she will be the alpha dog. She does not play with other dogs either, she just wants her people. She is a calm dog. She has no anxiety really. You can leave her to free roam. She never uses a crate. She can be trusted. She will not chew or get into anything.  She needs a secure fenced in yard and someone home during the day. You must be located within 50 miles of Grovertown, Indiana.  She is vaccinated, spayed , microchipped. Her adoption fee is $100 For more information on our Foster to Adopt Program go to this link https://indianasaveadog.com/foster-to-adopt ##2057193##

Story
His name is Phoenix, and he’s 8 years of age. The reason for me giving him up is that I’m currently not able to afford his medical needs. Also, I live in a place that’s strict on pets and they are demanding that I get vaccinations however with that along with his medical needs, the vet doesn’t recommend that I get vaccines. I’m basically at dead ends and would appreciate your help. Phoenix needs love and care. I’ve recently been instructed to go see medical specialist concerning his prostate concerning around his weight lost.
