Cesar is ready for his forever home! He is believed to be a Golden Retriever/Shepherd mix, around 9-10 years old and about 50ish pounds. He is a docile and sweet guy that is coming out of his shell in his foster home. Prior to coming to BAARK, Cesar spent the majority of his life on a homeless dog ranch in Texas where he did not get much one-on-one human contact. It does take him a little time to open up to people but after a couple days in his foster home, he soon became a “velcro dog” following his foster mom everywhere she goes. He is house broken (has had zero accidents in his foster home) and crate trained. He loves to sleep in his crate but does not need to be crated when left alone, or at night; he is free to roam with no issues. Cesar loves being outside and would love his forever family to have a secure, fenced yard. He has great leash manners and enjoys his daily walks, as well. He is good with other dogs with proper introduction and would do well with another calm dog in the home; he would be fine as an only dog too. We do not know how Cesar is with cats. A home without small children would be best for Cesar as he gets a bit nervous with loud noises and fast movements. Cesar is fully vetted, up to date on all vaccinations, is heartworm negative and his senior bloodwork panel came back perfect. He is also neutered, microchipped and recently had a dental cleaning with appropriate extractions. Due to his having osteoarthritis, typical of larger dogs his age, he would do best continuing to take medications to help. Currently he is taking Omega 3s, Cosequin and Cortaflex Plus that have greatly helped him in his day to day movement. We believe Cesar is also a bit hard of hearing. If you’re looking for a low key, easy going smiley guy who loves to find a soft spot and take a nap, Cesar is your pup!

Christine has such beautiful and unique coloring and markings. Her fluffy body is covered with the softest black and white fur with hints of brown mixed in. While most of her body is covered in black fur, she has a small white patch of fur on her backend, a white tipped tail, four white legs, and four white paws. Her ears and head are black and brown with a white muzzle. Going down the middle of her face is a beautiful white stripe that is sprinkled with small black freckles. She has beautiful eyes and judging by the way she looks at us…we think she knows it. Oh, that face will just melt your heart. Christine is a very independent little girl. She has no problem playing with soft toys on her own or curling up by herself for a little nap. Sometimes she even finds a little hiding spot to sneak away for her little naps. Christine is very social with humans as well as her siblings. When a human walks into the room - she is one of the first puppies to run over to meet them. She is always up for any play time that she can get with humans but most of all, she loves to be picked up and cuddled by humans who will give her a good belly rub. She is also very sociable with her siblings. She lives to run and chase her siblings all around the Adoption Center and okay tug-of-war games with toys that make scrunchy sounds. She is a true athlete when it comes to those tug-of-war games! When she is all tuckered out, her favorite place to sleep is on the floor, next to a human, so she can gently rest her head on their leg and quickly fall asleep. She really is a very sweet girl and deserves a furever home filled with lots of fun times and love for her. Interested in adopting this dog? The meaning behind Benvolio’s name is “good-will, well-wisher, peacemaker, and bringing people together.” What a perfect name for this little pup because he is nothing but love and peace. Benvolio loves humans! As soon as one walks into a room his tail starts wagging and he heads over to greet them. All Benvolio wants to do is be picked up and held while he sleeps. Benvolio will walk up to a human and literally start climbing up their leg while begging to be picked up. And by begging …we mean “puppy crying”. He uses that soft spoken puppy whimper to get to your heart - and it works! Just look at his face! How could anyone turn him down? Once he is in your arms, he likes to be held like a baby and will sleep in your arms all day - if you let him. Benvolio inherited his gorgeous coloring and markings from his beautiful Mama (Gingersnap). He has a muscular little body that is covered with golden brown fur with hints of dark brown and black fur mixed in. Benvolio is definitely the peacemaker with his siblings. If some of his siblings are getting a little rambunctious, loud, or aggressive with one another, he will walk over and everyone seems to chill. Benvolio is already living up to his name - he is the peacemaker of the litter. He is a gentle soul who deserves to find a furever home that is filled with nothing but love for him.Interested in adopting this dog? Kuu is Finnish for “moon.” It is also a famous dog name in Japan, meaning “sky.” Like the meaning of his name - the sky`s the limit with this little guy and you can’t help but love him to the moon and back. Kuu is the largest of all ten puppies in his litter. No surprise here, but Kuu is a big eater and loves his food. Don’t let his size fool you - he is a gentle giant. Kuu loves to cuddle up in the lap of a human and nap there. He loves to be petted while being cradled in your arms. If you let him, he would probably snooze there all day. Kuu loves to cuddle with his siblings too whether it’s in a big puppy pile or side-by-side with them, he is very gentle and loving. When Kuu is not snuggling with his siblings, he is playing with them. He loves soft toys, squeaky toys, and chasing his siblings around the Adoption Center. Kuu inherited his beautiful coloring and markings from his Mama (Gingersnap). His body is golden brown in color with hints of black and brown fur mixed in. He has a small patch of white fur on his face and chin, a large patch of white fur on his chest, and all four of his paws are tipped with white fur. His face is absolutely adorable! He has pink spots on his little black nose and the most beautiful green eyes. Kuu always gives the most adorable “puppy eyes” which beg for someone to pick him up and love him. Ice-Ice-Baby! Ice is the smallest of all ten puppies in his litter - but don’t let his size fool you! Ice is one active little dude who has no fear. He is not afraid of anything or anyone - humans, puppies, or new places. He loves to jump in and play with his siblings at a moment’s notice. His favorite game is tug-of-war. He may be small but he has great strength and confidence. He can hold his own in any game and lives to run with all the bigger pups as they chase each other around the Adoption Center. Ice can even be a little instigator at times - but all ends well as the pups all play and crash for naps together. Ice sure does love his naps! He sleeps on his side, on his back, and even upside-down at times. It is so cute when he stretches his little legs out. Whenever a human enters the room, Ice is right there climbing over all his siblings so that he can get picked up and be the first to get cuddles. Like his siblings, Ice inherited his beautiful coloring and markings from his Mama (Gingersnap). He is a handsome guy with a smooth and soft coat of golden brown with hints of brown and black fur mixed in. My name is Jack Tripper, named after one of the three roommates from the sitcom, “Three’s Company,” because I am the largest one in a litter of three retriever pups. I have short brown fur, a beautiful black snout, and a really long tail that loves to wag! I’m about 2.5-months old and am expected to be a big, strong boy when I’m fully grown. My foster says I can be a little shy at first and recommends slow introductions. Maybe after a few rounds of playing fetch with my favorite tennis ball, I will be able to trust you.
