Jeanette and Elanor were transferred in from an open admission facility at maximum capacity. They are only about 8 or 9 weeks old. We suspect, as they are 17 pounds currently, that they will be on the larger side when grown. Jeanette and Elanor are both friendly and outgoing. We would be delighted to find them families who will love them unconditionally regardless of their size. It would be very sad to see Jeanette and Elanor become statistics of `black dog syndrome`. Experts believe the lack of adoptions for black dogs in shelters is due to not being able to see their facial characteristics. Thank goodness for our expert photographer! Just look at those faces! Even better, come on in and get a close up look at them! Jeanette and Elanor are spayed, microchipped and have started on core vaccines. We can vouch for the fact that they have adorable faces and soulful eyes!

Sprinkles, Candy Cane, Peppermint, Mini Marshmallow, Chocolate Chip, and Cocoa are adorable hound/retriever mix puppies. They were surrendered by their owners. Their dog had an brief dalliance with a traveling salesman who sneaked into their yard. As a result, there were 10 little bundles of joy. Although they were able to find homes for 4 of them, Sprinkles, Candy Cane, Peppermint, Mini Marshmallow, Chocolate Chip and Cocoa are still looking for their holiday and every day homes. We do expect them to be on the large side when grown, so keep this in mind if you have weight restrictions where you live. Stop in and meet this yummy little bunch of pups. We are open 11 to 4 Tuesday through Saturday. Sprinkles, Candy Cane, Peppermint, Mini Marshmallow, Chocolate Chip and Cocoa are ready to spend the holidays with their new family. How can you resist any of these? They are spayed/neutered, microchipped and have started on their core vaccines.

Jonah is a small young boy who is starting to come out of his shell and show his cute little personality! He and his siblings were all dumped on a dirt road to fend for themselves, and luckily we rescued them! He is working on house training and so far he's doing amazing. He's still learning to be feel comfortable in a crate but with baby steps he will be crate trained in no time. He can almost make it all night with no accidents. Jonah will make the perfect little cuddle bug for you and your family.We are a 501c3 non profit rescue.Your information in our application is not shared and is protocol for adoption. Here is the application link. https://shorturl.at/syCM3All of our dogs have age appropriate vaccinations, if over 6 months old are spayed or neutered, if under 6 months adopter is responsible for having that done between 6 and 10 months of age(we can offer some low cost options for you), microchipped with lifetime free membership, dewormed and will go home with a 3 to 5 day dewormer as well, any medical conditions known are disclosed to the best of our ability. Adults are hw tested and status is disclosed. Please don't let HW positive dogs deter you. Please ask us and we will gladly explain the slow kill process! If you are out of state or out of area that is not a problem, we do offer relay transport for a small additional fee to cover health certificates required for private interstate travel and additional vetting required. My sisters and I were found and brought to the rescue. We've been treated for our skin issues and loved unconditionally at the rescue since we arrived. We have made some wonderful friends while here, but I'm so ready to be in a home of my own. I think I would like a home where I can play, eat, and sleep with my very own family!
